NCNS are seeking suitably qualified candidates to deliver a new evidence based program, Functional Family Therapy Child Welfare (FFT-CW), to vulnerable families with complex needs in the Nepean region. This is an opportunity to engage with, motivate, and work intensively with families, delivering a program for families with children and young people aged 0-17 at risk of being placed in out of home care. We are looking for qualified practitioners to work as part of a team delivering the Functional Family Therapy Child Welfare model to keep families together. You will be fully trained and supported, both by NCNS and the program developers, and NCNS offers generous salary packaging, flexibility, and the opportunity for continuous professional development. Salary negotiable and dependent on qualifications and experience Program Manager Practice & Managing Director Key Responsibilities The provision of standardised FFT-CW therapy for 8 families. FFT-CW is delivered in the family home. Model adherence as identified in the attainment of fidelity scoring at the prescribed level FFT-CW Therapist Functional Family Therapy Address clinical needs of clients through a range of model-adherent interventions, such as behaviour change plans. Conduct assessment including: - review of referral information, - identify and engage key participants, - identify systemic strengths and weaknesses, and - develop an analysis of the fit of problem behaviours within the ecological context Independently responsible for development of treatment plan. Complete Pre-assessment within 24 hours of referral and before first phone call Schedule first session within 48 hours of referral Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement. Implement a problem conceptualization, treatment plan, intervention implementation, outcome review and strategy revision procedure using the model's Analytic Process. Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with model Analytic Process. Complete, with model adherence, CSS/Conn/QB progress notes within 48 hours Complete FASPs and other required documentation Create written phase plans that are tailored to the specific family (including linking plans to safety risks and referral behaviours and anticipated session frequency during phase) Create specific session plans based on phase plans that indicate link to referral behaviours and risks

6 Collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants within each system to ensure their buy-in and cooperation throughout FFT-CW treatment. Maintain weekly collateral contacts throughout Behaviour Change phase and documentation of such. Maintain accountability for collateral coordination around GP and FTR standards and the impact this has on session frequency Provide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with FFT-CW principles and practices. Participate in all model program training, supervision and consultation activities, including weekly peer supervision, consultation, and individual supervision. Provide home-based clinical treatment. Maintain accountability to adherence of model standards of length of stay and recognition of plan to address barrier to adherence to these standards Responsible for developing sessions at the convenience of clients, and informing supervisor of this schedule.
