Methodology Ifop study for: Sample Sample of 1000 people, representing people in France aged 18 and over. Sample of 1003 people, representing people in Germany aged 18 and over. Quotas were used to ensure that the samples used were properly representative (sex, age, occupation of the interviewee) after stratification by GEOGRAPHICAL AREAand town size (France), by Länder (Germany). Data collection method: The interviews were conducted using self-administered on-line questionnaires (CAWI - Computer Assisted Web Interviewing). Survey dates France : March 10th March 13th 2014 Germany : March 10th March 14th 2014 The International Campaign for Tibet was established on March 15, 1988 to support the Tibetan people s struggle for human rights and democratic freedoms. From a handful of dedicated individuals, ICT has grown into an international organization empowered by the vision of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. ICT works internationally with governments, parliaments, journalists, and other NGOs to leverage global influence to improve the situation of Tibetans. In the effort to achieve its goals ICT faces a formidable opponent in the Government of China and its exponentially greater resources it uses to attempt to shape the narrative on the Tibet issue. ICT, a 501(c)(3) organization, maintains offices in Washington, DC, Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, and a field team in Dharamsala, India. ICT, which is member of FIDH, has a partnership agreement with the Australian Tibet Council. More information at www.savetibet.org Page 2
