CP Fastpass - Auto Gate Kiosk International/Domestic Ramp Traffic This document will provide training steps for drivers who handle traffic for the Ocean Carriers, Import/Export traffic to and from the CP Rail yards and Domestic ramp traffic moving in Private Owned containers or CPR containers. The steps will include how to do a pre-work on the mobile app and then how to operate the new gate kiosks when they arrive at the ramp. If the driver does NOT use the mobile app they will follow the steps when they arrive at the ingate. Drivers creating pre-work transactions prior to coming to the ramp on the Mobile phone Drivers signing in at a kiosk or utilizing a QR code at the Ingate to access the yard Full loads being delivered to the CP ramp for rail Full loads to be picked up at the CP Ramps Picking up empty containers on a marine booking from a CP ramp Returning marine empty containers to a CP ramp, if they have pool privileges. Drivers creating pre-work transactions prior to coming to the ramp on the mobile phone: To perform a pre-work transaction prior to coming to the CP Rail ramp a driver must have access to the CP Fastpass Mobile Application. If they do not have access they will have to perform the gate transactions at the Automated Gate Kiosk when they arrive at the ramp. Driver to sign into the application using their new User ID and passcode: User id = VGNXXXXX Passcode Driver s own created passcode Hit log in button The Select a Transaction screen will open Driver will select from the 7 tiles what type of transaction they are doing 1. Load In Driver bringing in a container to move on rail 2. Empty In Driver returning an empty container to the CP yard, if there are pool privileges 3. Load Out Driver pulling a loaded container from the CP yard 4. Empty Out Driver pulling out an empty marine container from the CP ramp, they will need an empty booking # 5. In Progress Transactions Drivers pre-work transaction they performed prior to coming to the ramp on the Mobile Application 6. Equipment Status Lookup To verify if a load is releasable from the ramp, if a load is billed to take to the ramp, check a booking to see if still open or valid. 7. Edit Profile this is the driver profile which they can update if changes are required. Not all fields are editable; they may have to reach out to the ROC Admin group to update for them. 1

Full loads being delivered to the CP ramp for furtherance on rail Click the Load In Tile Enter the container number they are bringing to the ramp for rail o Note driver does not need to enter a chassis number if this is not a CP type chassis. Enter the chassis number if blank and it is a CP type chassis Click Continue Driver to review the billing displayed (this was billed by the customer) they must validate the shipment they are bringing into the rail and advise of any discrepancies to the Problem Area; otherwise it could delay the shipment or be refused. o Hazmat Yes or No (if Hazmat = Y - driver must ensure container has the correct placards applied to the container otherwise it could delay the shipment and container could be refused.) o Destination destination ramp the shipment is to be railed to (CP ramp or Port) o Weight - this is the commodity weight inside the container o Seal number if not populated driver must enter the seal this is mandatory (maximum of 2 allowed to be entered) o Reservation # - only applicable if customer is set up on the CP reservation system, number would have been provided o Do you need to have the container lifted off? Y or N IF this is not a CP type chassis then the driver should always select Y so they may leave with their chassis. (Selecting Y will provide work instructions to the yard that the container needs to be lifted off the chassis) o Container damage Y or N Driver should report any damage noted on the container, cameras at the ingate will record any noticeable damage and shipment could be delayed if driver does not identify at the ingate. o Chassis damage Y or N If the driver is using a CP type chassis they need to report damage, select Y. If this is not a CP type chassis then select N If the container is a running reefer or heater (PPS) the driver will be asked if the running temperature of the container is within + or 3 degrees of the temperature setting on the billing. Driver will need to confirm by selecting Y or N. If the running temperature is not within the allowable 3 degrees they MUST report this to the Problem Area Kiosk, or the shipment could be delayed and/or refused for rail. Fuel Level driver to select the amount of fuel in the unit from the drop down Click Continue Pre-work transaction completed for the container going into the rail yard. Click Create Another Transaction at the bottom of the screen if the driver is taking a load or empty from the yard, after they drop off the container. If they are not taking a unit out of the ramp they are finished and the pre-work transaction they performed will be displayed on the In Progress Transaction tile. They will be displayed when the driver arrives at the ramp. Full loads to be picked up at the CP Ramps for street delivery Click the Load Out Tile Enter the container number they are taking out of the ramp Enter the pickup number if applicable Pre-work transaction completed for the container going out of the rail yard. If all transactions are completed by the driver they will be displayed on the In Progress Transaction tile. They will be displayed when the driver arrives at the ramp. Pulling an empty container from a CP ramp on a marine booking Click the Empty Out Tile Enter the Marine/Domestic booking number Pre-work transaction completed for the container going out of the rail yard. If all transactions are completed by the driver they will be displayed on the In Progress Transaction tile. They will be displayed when the driver arrives at the ramp. Returning marine empty containers to a CP ramp, if they have pool privileges or CPR empty containers Click the Empty In Tile Enter the container number Pre-work transaction completed for the container going out of the rail yard. If all transactions are completed by the driver they will be displayed on the In Progress Transaction tile. They will be viewed when the driver arrives at the ramp. 2

Driver arrives at the Ingate Pre-work Transactions were done on the Mobile prior to arriving at the ramp Driver scans their QR code or clicks the Log in button The Summary of Transactions screen will be the default screen that opens next Driver will select which transaction they are going to be doing in the yard at that time and validate their move They can click the check box beside the transaction they want to perform then click the View/Edit Details button to validate what they are bringing to the ramp or what they are taking out of the ramp. The driver can edit a move at the ingate, if required Check the move to be reviewed, hit the View/Edit Details button View Detail screen will open Hit the Edit button at the bottom of the screen the New Load In screen will open and the editable fields will open. The driver can add any damage on the container/cp chassis, if not already done when they did their pre-work. 3

If the driver is done validating their moves they would select the transactions they are performing at that time and check Print Buckslip or Email Buckslip or both and hit Open Gate. Note if a driver has done multiple pre-work transactions they can only select the transactions they are there to perform at that time. Buckslip for the move in and the move out will print if that was selected and the gate arm will rise, driver can enter the ramp. 4

Drivers perform the transaction at the Ingate Kiosk NOT on the Mobile APP Driver to sign into the application using their new User ID and passcode: User id = VGNXXXXX Passcode Driver s own created passcode Hit log in button The Select a Transaction screen will open Driver will select from the 7 tiles what type of transaction they are doing Refer to page 2 same steps apply depending on the transaction they want to do If there is an issue with processing the shipment the driver will receive an option to go to the Problem area. There could be various refusal reasons. 5

Driver arrives at the Outgate: Drivers drops the container in the yard and then either pickups a load, an empty or bobtails out. They arrive at the outgate they scan their QR code or Log in, same step as the Ingate. The Summary of Transactions screen will Open by default The driver would select their move Out they are preforming at that time, hit the > and click Exit Terminal The complete transaction screen will open and the driver will need to confirm what they dropped off, enter Y or N Select email Bucklsip if desired, otherwise the buckslip will print automatically Summary of Transactions screen will open and advise Interchange terminated successfully Clikc Exit Terminal, buckslip will print automatinaclly and Gate will open If the driver encounters an issue after they outgate they can pull to the side and go to the problem area for assistance. 6

Driver outgates with a CP Rail reefer: Enter chassis number, if it is a CP type chassis Enter hub reading for CP chassis only Answer yes or no to all questions on this screen and fill in the fuel level from the drop down menu Click Continue and the gate will print your buckslip. If you want an email of the buck slip, put a check in the box. Press Exit Terminal to leave CP. 7
