A TIME FOR LOVE One of the big questions that flash through the minds of every couple in February is, what on earth are we going to do for Valentines Day? Beyond that more and more people are looking for more interesting, unique, intimate experiences that money can t buy. Experiences to spoil your special someone in ways that they have never imagined. This coming February, 702 has you covered. 702 is creating an unforgettable Valentine's Day experience for a select number of 702 listeners.
702 MUSIC Music has always been a part of the DNA of 702 and in the past year the station has repositioned its music offering to ensure that the music is relevant to the stations growing audiences and their diverse music tastes. In the past years, jazz and soul music have become a staple on 702 and this Valentines day we aim to align 702 Music into a campaign that culminates in a unique and memorable experience for the lucky listeners.
THE CONCEPT A NIGHT ON THE TOWN A one week radio campaign that celebrates love in a meaningful way and gives listeners the opportunity to spoil their beloved this Valentines day. The campaign will consist of three phases to ensure that the campaign drives reach and impact, encourages many great stories and culminates with a beautiful evening event. The Phases are as follows: - Pre Promotion - Call to Entry - The Event
PHASE ONE PRE PROMOTION 10-11 February 2018 At the start of the month, 702 will flight recorded promos in the week to inform listeners about the upcoming campaign and for them to listen to 702 in the coming weeks for their chance to secure their place at the Valentine s Event.
PHASE TWO PROMOTION 12 16 February 2018 During a one week period 702 will flight a combination of Live and Recorded Promos that will encourage listeners to visit the A Night on The Town page on the 702 website for an opportunity to win one of 20 double tickets to the exclusive event on Saturday 17 February. Everyday on 702, 1 entrants will be taken to air for a winners moment with the presenters and to share their Valentine s Day plans for their loved one. This will then be spiked on 14 February with a one additional moment during the day on the day of love. Social media will also be used during these weeks to drive the 702 digital audience to also enter on the 702 website.
PHASE THREE THE EVENT A NIGHT ON THE TOWN 17 February 2018 20 couples will be invited to an exclusive 702 dinner and music experience hosted by PRESENTER (TBC) at Marabi Jazz Club (TBC) The evening will include, dinner, drinks and a live music by a Jazz / Soul music performer such a Zahara, Nakhane Toure (TBC). Each couple will receive a complimentary gift bag to remember the evening by, contents of which can be confirmed closer to the time.
THE EVENT
AMPLIFICATION DIGITAL MEDIA The digital component of the campaign is crucial to its success and will fulfill two major functions. ENTRY PLATFORM - An online page on 702 with information about A Night on the Town - Entry Form which will also be used as a lead generation opportunity AMPLIFICATION - Social Media - Phase 2: 5 Facebook and 5 Tweets - Post Event: 1 x video will be created on the night of the event for publication on 702 social media
CLIENT BRANDING OPPORTUNITIES As a partner on for A Night on The Town with 702, you will receive multiple opportunities to showcase your brand. They are as follows: On air promos: Client Name and Payoff line during the teaser, live and recorded promos. Online: Visual presence on the A Night on the Town page, banners and social media posts. Links and tags will be included in posts where relevant Event: Branding, goodie bags, activation with brand and product to a captive audience. Event Video: Product placement in an authentic lifestyle orientated piece of video content.
