JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Location: Responsible to: Salary: Duration of Post: Football Development Administrator (FFA Schools & Futsal) National Football Stadium, Belfast Schools & Futsal Manager 16,000-18,000 dependent on experience Temporary to cover a secondment for approximately five months. The role may be reviewed for further extension or possible permanency subject to business needs. PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The successful candidate will report to the Schools and Futsal Manager and work as a member of the Football Development Department to provide administrative support to all Schools and Futsal programmes. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Carry out administrative duties as and when required by the Schools and Futsal manager, including but not limited to, production of letters, reports, emails, filing. 2. Ensure that all relevant programme and activity information is recorded and documented for analysis by Manager and in line with programme/funder standards and requirements. 3. Manage all relevant financial records appropriate to the department such as expense claims for 30 plus staff, purchase orders and invoices and ensure the timely and accurate completion in accordance to the organisations processes and authorisations. 4. Maintain and monitor attendance management in line with the organisation s policy and systems, keeping the manager abreast of anything that requires their authorisation or attention. 5. Develop and update administrative systems and processes to improve quality and efficiency. 6. Work closely with other departments to support the delivery of the IFA Youth Strategy and service programmes outside the remit of this role when deemed appropriate by the line manager.
7. Proactively participate in training and development opportunities, staff performance appraisals and reviews as required to further self and others. Attend meetings, workshops, training courses and visit network sites as appropriate. 8. Service the Irish Football Association s policies in line with its development plans. 9. Administer diary management for manager as and when required. 10. Adhere to and actively support at all times all company policies, procedures, processes and working practices, including adhering to best practice. 11. PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION 1. Education & qualifications Essential 1.1 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) including Mathematics and English Language, or equivalent. Desirable 1.2 Working towards a relevant administration or business related qualification. 2. Experience 2.1 Possess a minimum of 1 year s relevant experience in a busy office environment. 2.2 A minimum of 2 years experience in a busy office environment. 3. Skills, knowledge & competencies 3.1 Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral). 3.2 Must have strong computer literacy skills and proven competency in using Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. 3.3 Ability to adjust to change. 3.4 Can demonstrate by example, the ability to manage a challenging workload with multiple and often conflicting priorities. 3.5 Is a team player who can work on own initiative, organise and prioritise work effectively. 3.6 A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual. 3.7 Possesses a high degree of attention to detail and high level of accuracy with pride in all work and tasks produced. 2.3 Experience in a similar role and industry environment.

Other requirements (4.4-4.6 are post job offer) 3.8 A high level of discretion and judgement. 4.1 Proof of eligibility to work in the UK. 4.2 Have a valid passport allowing unrestricted international travel 4.3 Have a clean driving licence and access to a car for business use. 4.4 Completion of a medical questionnaire demonstrating the ability to fulfil the Occupational Health requirements for the post and flag any reasonable adjustment required. 4.5 Two satisfactory employment references, one of whom should ideally be the current/most recent employer. 4.6 Enhanced Access NI checks with satisfactory clearance.
