These include field names, screen titles, pushbuttons labels, menu names, menu paths, and menu options. Cross-references to other documentation. Visual Business Configuration with SAP TM Prerequisites You have installed SAP Visual Business 2.0. If you want to configure Visual Business, you have authorization object VBC_CONF. If you want to use the map applications in SAP TM, you have authorization object VBC_APP. For more information, see the SAP Visual Business 2.0 Installation and Configuration Guide at http://service.sap.com/instguides. Configuration SAP Visual Business requires a limited number of configuration settings, which need to be carried out in Customizing for the SAP Visual Business back-end component ( SAP Customizing Implementation Guide Cross-Application Components Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications Visual Business Visual Business 2.0 ). Before you can customize SAP Visual Business, you must activate the corresponding business function FND, Visual Business (FND_VISUAL_BUSINESS). For more information about business function FND, Visual Business, see SAP Library for SAP Enhancement Package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 at http://help.sap.com/erp. In SAP Library, choose SAP Business Suite Cross-Application Business Functions Business Functions (SAP Business Suite Foundation 7.02) General Business Functions for SAP Business Suite FND, Visual Business. For more information about activating business functions, see SAP Library for SAP Solution Manager 7.0 at http://help.sap.com/alm. In SAP Library, choose Basic Settings Solution Manager System Landscape Switch Framework Cockpit Switching a Business Function On. For more information about installing Visual Business, see http://service.sap.com/ SAP Support Portal Release & Upgrade Infon Installation & Upgrade Guides SAP Business Suite Applications Cross Application Tools SAP Visual Business Release 2.0. This guide is especially relevant for front-end installation procedures. In Customizing for SAP Visual Business, you must complete the following Customizing activities: Install ACF Whitelist Certificate Maintain Application Definitions Overwrite Map Server Default URLs If you want to use Visual Business for demo purposes only, you only have to install the ACF whitelist certificate since SAP delivers default settings including a link to the Navteq- Road map. Installing the ACF Whitelist Certificate Before you can use Visual Business, you have to install an ACF Whitelist Certificate on the client machine. The certificate is checked before loading the Visual Business browser plug-in for security reasons. Procedure 1. In Customizing for SAP Transportation Management, choose Transportation Management Basic Functions Geographical Map Visual Business ACF Install ACF Whitelist Certificate. 2. Select the Install Certificate pushbutton. The certificate has to be installed on each client machine before Visual Business can be used. (C) SAP AG 8

Maintaining Application Definitions In this Customizing activity you define and assign Map Products, Map Layer Stacks and Applications for Visual Business 2.0. Those settings are mandatory to operate Visual Business 2.0. The settings are client-independent and SAP and customer entries are separated by namespace reservations. Procedure The SAP delivered settings can be used for demo purposes. For a productive use map products need to be licenced from the service provider. 1. In Customizing for SAP Transportation Management, choose Transportation Management Basic Functions Geographical Map Visual Business Maintain Application Definitions. 2. You can create a new map product including the map layer stack and the assignment to the TM-applications which are going to use this map. (C) SAP AG 9

Overwriting Map Server Default URLs You can overwrite the map server default URLs assigned to an SAP delivered map product. The map products are used by the Visual Business 2.0 browser plug-in. Procedure The SAP delivered settings can be used for demo purposes. For a productive use map products need to be licenced from the service provider. 1. In Customizing for SAP Transportation Management, choose Transportation Management Basic Functions Geographical Map Visual Business Overwrite Map Server Default URLs. 2. Enter the configuration ID of your map provider. 3. Enter the URL of your map provider. 4. Save your settings. (C) SAP AG 10

Defining Settings for Geographical Map In this Customizing activity, you configure the settings for the geographical map and activate the display. Procedure 1. In Customizing for SAP Transportation Management, choose Transportation Management Basic Functions Geographical Map Define Settings for Geographical Map. 2. Select the Activate Map checkbox.
