Introduction Q-Shacks were developed by Quentor as lightweight freight solutions for world-wide air travel. The Q-Shack is a lightweight module that can be handled by a forklift and is strong enough to withstand the rigours of international air freight. Q-Shacks can be custom designed to be compatible with any standard aircraft pallet size. A Q-Shack can be a lightweight transportation and storage unit, workshop, outside broadcasting unit, communications centre, scientific laboratory, operating theatre, accommodation unit, sound studio, retail unit, military control centre. Please find enclosed a selected number of examples from our Q-Shack range which illustrate the various options available. These include: Q7-Cargo Shack: Designed to carry cargo in the upper deck position of an aircraft. Q6-Cargo Shack: Designed to carry cargo in the middle deck position of an aircraft. Track Shack: These units of the Q-Shack range can be fully fitted to fulfill a number of trackside applications such as spares storage/ workshop space & IT stations. These units have industrial castors fitted for manoeuvrability. Joined Track Shack: We can join two Track Shacks together to multiply the operational area. Winged Position boat : Designed to fit the lower deck winged position within the cargo hold to its optimum effect. Aero Shacks: Ultra lightweight Shacks which can save you significant airfreight costs. Land, Sea & Air Shack (LSA): A universal shack designed to be transported by land, sea and air. Q7 Cargo Shack The largest of our Q-Shack range, the Q7 Cargo 3 Shack has a 19.56 storage capacity. Constructed using 25mm aluminium honeycomb panels and super strong aluminium extrusions, the Q7 Cargo Shack can be fitted to your specification with bulkheads and shelving. Formula 1 teams have used the Quentor Q7 Cargo Shacks to carry essential equipment and spares to fly-away destinations worldwide. The Q7 Cargo Shack will fit a standard aircraft pallet and is specifically designed to fit the Q7 position within a cargo aircraft. Q6 Cargo Shack The Q6 Cargo Shack is a rugged workhorse capable of carrying heavy loads and withstanding the demands of international airfreight. We have constructed the Q6 Cargo Shack using our patented System 25 aluminium components combined with 25mm aluminium honeycomb panels. Doors can be fitted to either side, front or rear and bulkheads and shelving can be added to suit your freight requirements. The Q6 Cargo Shack will fit a standard aircraft pallet and is specifically designed to fit the Q6 position within a cargo aircraft. Track Shack The Track Shack is a versatile, tough unit capable of becoming anything from a workshop, administrative area, broadcast unit or scientific laboratory to a rapidly deployable operating theatre. We have even joined 2 x Track Shacks together to form a military operations centre. The Track Shacks are manufactured from 25mm honeycomb panels together with our System 25 corners and extrusions rendering them incredibly strong and yet relatively lightweight. Designed to fit a standard aircraft pallet they can also be fitted with industrial castors plates and castors for additional manoeuvrability. Track Shack interiors can be configured to meet your exact technical requirements. A high quality robust finish can be achieved as seen here. Winged Position Boat Designed to fit the large freight winged position within the cargo hold to its optimum effect. These cases are capable of storing items close to 4mtrs long, ideal for full length car floors, large bodywork sections, overhead pods, masts and large gantry components. The Winged Position Boat Cases can be built with an integral ramp-end to aid with efficient loading and unloading. The space can be split into several individual Flight Cases to fill the overall volume. NEW LSA Q-Shack Quentor s innovative new LSA solution enables the Quentor Q6 Cargo Shack and Quentor Trackshack to be conveniently transported via air, land or sea without the need for additional equipment or modification. The LSA solution consists of the installation of stainless steel rollers and fork lift tubes fitted across the full length and width of the base. LAND - This system enables the shack to be fork lifted from two directions onto your truck. SEA - Raising the front end of the shack by a small amount causes the rear rollers to contact the ground enabling the shack to be pushed to the back of the container, this can all be achieved with the aid of a standard pallet truck. AIR - The LSA shack can also be strapped down to a standard aircraft PMC or PMH pallet in the traditional manner so that it is ready to travel by air.
