SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION October 31st, Street Fair 11:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. November 1st, 11:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. p.m. The Old Town community along with the Old Town Chamber will be celebrating the 6th annual Day of the Dead celebration in Old Town. This event has become one of our largest and most popular events because of its attention to tradition and the cultural significance it celebrates. All Sponsors should have an altar and or some other presentation that ties you to the meaningfull spirit of this cultural event. By creating an altar at your booth or at a prominent place in Old Town, you are making your business an integral part of the celebration. Many event participants will visit your altar as they proceed through the Tour of the Altars a most meaningful part of the event. Use your creativity or engage your staff in assembling a traditional Día de los Muertos altar. Your altar could honor family, friends, or even a historical person relating to the event or San Diego in general. Unlike last year this will be three day event with the Procession on Monday Over 75,000 visitors over two days. 50,000 printed maps will highlight and guide visitors to your altar This year Zones have been set up for booths and denote any activities that you have going on at your business.
