Build your International Listings - FAQ Does the tool translate my listings into other languages? No, the tool only adds your active offers of new products (not used) to existing product pages (ASINs) in the target marketplaces. If the ASIN you want to sell does not exist yet in the target marketplace, you will have to create it, translating the product details. A connection will therefore not be possible. I want to sell in a category requiring prior approval (ex. Apparel), do I have to ask approval before using the tool? Yes, you need to contact the Seller Support team of the target marketplace to go through the approval process. What happens if I modify a listing in my target marketplace(s)? The connection will be severed and your offers will no longer be synchronised with your source marketplace. Your offers in the target marketplace will still exist. To re-establish the connection, you have to delete all offers in the TARGET marketplace and then go through the connection process again. I would like to use the tool but I already have listings in the target marketplace. What should I do? You should delete all current offers in the inventory page of your TARGET marketplace. Delete your offers will not delete the ASINs from the target marketplace catalogue, so the tool will be able to re-establish a connection by re-creating those offers based on your current source marketplace inventory. 11
Build your International Listings - FAQ Is this tool available through third party integrator systems and / or Marketplace Web Services (MWS)? The tool only exists in your Seller Central account. You should check the compatibility with your integrator. What exchange rate do we use? The rate is provided by Bloomberg daily, prices will be updated if there is more than 1% change. I already use the Expand Offers Internationally tool. What s the difference? The Expand Offers tool gives you inventory files listing ASINs which already exist in the target marketplace and which you can list against. You then choose against which ASINs you want to add an offer, choose your prices and then upload the file in the target marketplace. This tool gives you more control and customization options, but at the same requires more manual work than the Build Your International Listings tool. 12
Build your International Listings - FAQ Scenario 1 Your products do not exist on the target marketplace Select the target marketplace: Create a new product page: You should: - Translate the details - Re-use the same EANs and SKUs to synchronise your stock quantity with your home marketplace stock - No connection established with the tool Build International Listings Scenario 2 Your products already exist on the target marketplace Use the Expand Offers Internationally tool: - Create a request to get an inventory file - Choose items you want to sell and prices and upload the file in the target marketplace - No translation - Can pick and choose items to sell and prices - Quantities in stock synchronised with home marketplace - No connection with the tool Build International Listings 13
