All provisions that are not so modified remain in full force and effect. ADD: The Town will engage the services of a contractor to fully support and raise the existing building and maintain that support system for the Town to remove the foundation under the existing building and removal of front porch and stairs and for the C contractor to perform their work due to change in grade as shown on Grading & Utility Plan revised 1/19/17. Austerlitz New Town Hall Addendum #1 8) MODIFICATION of Bid Documents regarding top of brick shelf elevation at Addition: Modify the brick shelf elevation to: - 7-1 starting 5-0 from the southeast corner of the addition and continuing north to where the addition meets the existing building at the north elevation. Drawing E-8: ADD/REVISED: Sewage effluent control panel, wiring and conduits as shown. 11) Division 31 Site Work Documents: Drawing 3 Grading & Utility Plan : REVISED: 1/19/17 Specification Section 002030- INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS - Modification The Owner is responsible for excavation, sub-slab preparation, site drainage, foundation drainage, asphalt paving, septic system (including structures, pump, control panel), trenching (including bedding and backfill) for all contracts, exterior concrete preparation (curbs and slabs), seeding and landscaping. The Owner will provide temporary power, and temporary water as long as what is currently in the current Town Hall building is sufficient. There may be times during construction that other arrangements must be made for temporary water and power. E Electrical Work Clarification regarding Site Work 1. Provide all work necessary for coordination and providing of electric power, and conduit for phone and data to the building and the existing Town Hall Building. Trenching, bedding and backfill by Town. 2. Provide all site lighting fixtures, poles, concrete bases, conduit, wiring. Trenching, bedding and backfill by Town. 3. Provide all work necessary for coordination and providing power for the sewage effluent pump including power from the building to the pump control panel, and from the control panel to the sewage pump. Electrical contractor shall be responsible for final power connection at the pump control panel and the pump. The Town shall be responsible for furnishing and mounting the pump control panel, and the pump. Austerlitz New Town Hall Addendum #1 P Plumbing Work Modification and Clarification regarding Site Work 1. Septic System: Plumbing Contract shall terminate effluent piping 5 feet beyond building exterior. 2. The contract scope shall be revised so that the all work necessary for the septic system beyond 5 feet of the building shall be the responsibility of the Town. The effluent pump, rails, controls and piping within the pump station have been removed from the plumbing contract. 3. Plumbing contractor shall be responsible for installed new water line between the Building and the Existing Town Hall, as well as final connections. Trenching, bedding and backfill by Town. C Construction Contract- Modification and Clarification regarding Site Work 1. Provide complete layout and setting of grades for all site work. Contractor shall provide grade stakes for limits of excavation. All excavation and backfill of footings, foundation, utilities, and slab shall be completed by the Town Highway Department. 2. Contractor shall be responsible for the installation of all exterior concrete work, including concrete slabs, sidewalks, flatwork, equipment pads, and concrete curbing shown on the drawings and documents.
