QS Stars QS Stars Marketing Strategy Tool During the audit process, institutions are rated from 1-5plus overall, as well as receiving scores in different performance areas. This allows institutions to use their badge to highlight their achievements and promote their strengths among prospective students QS Stars is an evaluation system that assesses your university using a rating method. Universities are awarded a rating of one to five stars + (the highest rating), depending on their performance within the evaluation.
