ATS&P Level 7 $90,000 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation and salary packaging Information Services Information Services/Business Services /VIC July 2017 Working within the Information Systems (IS) Team, this position will be responsible for the development of our BI (Business Intelligence) systems and other Business Information systems. The role of Information Systems (IS) is to support the development, implementation, integration and operation of the organisation s information technology including: Manage and coordinate the systems administration of Mind s Information Systems Analyse business needs and propose innovative, cost effective options Provide ICT infrastructure for the organisation Integrate systems across the business Support training, system support, report delivery and interpretation. This position is part the IS team, which provides a centralised service for a range of devices and applications across all of Mind s locations. Administration Proven 2 years experience as a systems analyst, business analyst and/or developer SQL knowledge is an absolute must - this role will be utilising SQL to extract and analyse large amounts of data Ability to multi-task Proven experience in BI (Business Intelligence) systems, preferably Qlikview Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle using different methodologies across agile, iterative and waterfall approaches Excellent written and verbal communication skills including developing requirements and solution documentation Solid knowledge of business information systems and technology solutions, including internet and mobile technologies, applications, networks and databases Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail. Conduct and facilitate requirement workshops. Undertake detailed analysis and the development of detailed business requirements both functional and technical. Apply appropriate testing strategies and methodologies. Understand and document change impacts associated with business process reviews and re-engineering. Project Management Undertake and develop detailed analysis project plans outlining project scope, financials, schedules, risk and issues. Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate toolsets. Complete projects to plan and report of any project associated budgets. Relationship Management Coordinate ongoing relationships and communication with managers, service delivery staff and operational staff, to support the business analyst role. Source and establish relationships with contracted consultants, software vendors, and other related businesses, as required. This position is full time fixed term working 38 per week until 28 February 2018. Working days will generally be Monday to Friday worked between the hours of between the hours of 8am to 6pmas required. Please note that the work pattern may be subject to change to meet the needs of the service. You are able to salary package a tax free amount, which is currently up to $15,900 per FBT year, plus other items including meal and entertainment and accommodation. The amount available for salary packaging will be subject to Commonwealth legislation as it applies from time to time and on the basis that Mind will not incur any liabilities for FBT. Mind offers salary packaging through an outsourced provider (currently RACV Salary Solutions). Other conditions are as per Mind s industrial agreement. Employer superannuation contribution will be paid according to the legislative requirement. Appointment is subject to a six month probationary period of employment.
