External Supporters External fundraising networks and contacts from other charities Other local community contacts Accountabilities Ensuring Financial Integrity: To ensure the financial probity of the Region, ensuring compliance with both Financial and Audit requirements. In conjunction with the Head of Community Fundraising prepare the annual budgets for the Region ensuring that all information is presented in accordance with Financial, Operational and product guidelines. Take responsibility for the Regional Operations Team budget. Ensuring that all income for the Region is attributed correctly Monitoring and Analysis To provide the Head of Community Fundraising with a monthly analysis of the Management Accounts for the Region, highlighting significant variances in income and expenditure. Monitoring the processing of all income streams into the Region ensuring errors are identified and managed and that all Regional staff are meeting the processing requirements of the Supporter Relations Team. Using the Community Fundraising forecasting tool provide a monthly snapshot of the Region s financial position. Monitoring and recording of all incidents, accidents and complaints onto the Charity s databases Health and Safety To Act as the key Health and Safety representative for the Region, carrying out annual health and safety audits of each office, fire risk assessments for each office, risk assessments of staff members where applicable, Display Screen Equipment assessments, Manual Handling training,. To ensure that incidents and accidents are reported and recorded onto the Charity s database in a timely manner. To act as the Business Continuity Crisis Management Team Lead for the Region. To ensure that emergency and business continuity plans are in place and kept up to date for all teams within the Region.
Training and Development To Act as a key trainer within the Region for Display Screen Equipment, Manual Handling, and all administrative and operational processes, procedures and policies Act as a fundraising database super-user for the Region, providing training to fundraising staff as part of their induction and ensuring processes and procedures, associated with the database, are disseminated to all staff and understood. Planning, preparing and delivering induction training for all new staff within the Region. Providing training on budgeting and forecasting processes. Attending and participating in training for all fundraising products, and where required, delivering product training at a Regional level. Human Resources Providing a Regional Operations Team first point of contact service for the Region for all staff and HR enquiries. Support the Head of Community Fundraising and Senior Management colleagues in preparing for staff 1-2-1 meetings. Provide support and advice to the region on recruitment and compliance procedures for Community Fundraising volunteers. Line manage the Regional Operations Officer Audit To manage an annual Audit programme across all teams within the Region to ensure compliance with charity policy and procedures, financial probity, database management and data and office security. Ensuring detailed and up to date records are maintained by each team on financial processing, Health and Safety, Business Continuity, and Audit. Building Relationships Ability to build a strong network of operational relationships on behalf of the region.
