> production THE CIAT GROUP In just 75 years, CIAT has become Europe's leading name in air conditioning, air handling, heat exchange and heating using renewable energies. CIAT designs, manufactures and markets its own solutions for the commercial sectors (offices, businesses, hotels, superstores etc.) as well as the residential, healthcare and industrial sectors. Its nine international production sites use state-of-the-art industrial and technical resources to ensure the technological excellence of its products. CIAT group PRODUCTION OF ROOF TOP UNITS Roof top is the flagship range of Ciatesa, CIAT's Spanish subsidiary based in the heart of Andalusia. Founded in 1986, Ciatesa built an ultramodern 40,000 m 2 factory in 2000 that is equipped with automated lines and boasts significant Research and Testing facilities. It uses its competitive production capabilities, based on standardisation and flexibility, to offer a range of Roof Top units suited to any environment and need. One of Europe's leading names in the rooftop market, Ciatesa manufactures over 1,500 Roof Top units each year.

> air quality clean air > SPACE monitors and filters Its two levels of filtration (G4 and F7 efficacies) ensure optimum air quality and prevent filter clogging. SPACE's air-quality sensor draws in just the right amount of fresh air as and when needed. > installation unlimited adaptability M0 assembly MT assembly MS assembly Motorised fresh-air damper for free cooling Return air only Stationary fresh-air inlet damper MA assembly MK assembly ME assembly MC assembly Motorised fresh-air damper for free cooling + return-air CENTRIFUGAL fan with motorised exhaust damper to adjust positive indoor pressure Motorised fresh-air damper for free cooling + return-air PROPELLER fan with motorised exhaust damper to adjust positive indoor pressure Motorised damper for free cooling + exhaust damper using natural ventilation Motorised damper for free cooling + propeller exhaust fan > SPACE has everything for easy on-site installation SPACE's return and supply openings can be located on the sides, top or bottom to accommodate any installation challenge. Its roof curb is sloped for easy installation. It features anti-vibration mounts specially adapted for ground installation. Its easy-access components facilitate checks during commissioning. An extraction system built into the roof top unit is available on the MA, ME, MK and MC versions of SPACE.

> safety spaces under control > SPACE's safety features It monitors air flows and filter cleanliness. The smoke detector and overheating thermostat protect the unit if a fire breaks out. Droplet eliminators on the fresh-air section and downstream of the cooling coil prevent water condensation being drawn in during periods of high humidity. The soft starter on the air handler's motor protects the fabric supply ducts from damage. > comfort indoor well-being > SPACE offers a number of features to ensure a high level of comfort > Remote indoor environment sensor: provides a more representative measurement of indoor temperature levels. Placed at the height of the average person, it sends the exact setpoint value to the controller. > Low-limit sensor: placed on the supply section, it lowers the amount of air being delivered (especially in free cooling mode) to avoid overheating or overcooling rooms. > Timer: allows occupants to manage the various setpoint ranges based on room occupancy. > Remote control: allows settings on one or more units to be read and changed from a distance. > Variable-speed fan control: the speed of the condenser fans is adjusted to ensure low noise levels.

> heat recovery environmentally sound > SPACE puts innovative, efficient solutions first > Passive heat recovery: Incoming fresh air is prewarmed using heat recovered by a plate exchanger. As a result, less electricity is needed to pretreat fresh air and units can be smaller. > SPACE features high-efficiency gas burners. > Free cooling is available on all versions of SPACE (MO and MT excepted). This feature makes it possible to cool indoor spaces using outdoor air. > The fans can be equipped with variable-speed EC motors to adjust air flows to just what is needed and, by the same token, reduce sound levels. > SPACE uses R-410A, a clean refrigerant that does not contribute to ozone depletion and has a 20% lower charge requirement. > SPACE's controller is programmed with an "intelligent defrost" algorithm that adjusts the defrost cycle and time to exact needs. > choice of energy sources > SPACE puts innovative, efficient solutions first > Cooling-only operation (RPF) > Heat pump (IPF) with electric auxiliary unit if necessary > Hot-water coil built into the Roof Top unit and controlled by a three-way modulating valve > Broad range of capacities spanning from 20 kw to 390 kw > Natural or propane gas-fired modulating burner

> Active heat recovery: Heat is recovered from exhaust air by a specific thermodynamic circuit built into Roof Top (MRC assembly), thereby increasing its energy efficiency. > service life long life > SPACE is designed to withstand harsh environments > Electrostatic polyester paint for excellent corrosion resistance > Protective grille on outdoor coil > Finned coil: precoated or blygold treated for industrial / marine environments > Stainless steel burner Polyester paint

> service and monitoring monitored spaces > CIAT is an international company with service offices around the world. > CIAT's Service division offers maintenance contracts suited to your needs. > CIAT offers several communication solutions: - remote control centralising all the parameters of each Roof Top unit at a single point, - monitoring system that includes a specific software program and PC for checking and changing parameters by remote control, - the controller features specific boards for various communications protocols. > performance specifications* newspace - RPF / IPF range Model 90 120 160 180 240 320 360 420 485 540 600 650 720 840 960 1100 1200 Air flow (m 3 /h) 4,000 6,000 8,700 9,000 12,000 14,300 15,900 18,000 18,200 20,400 24,000 27,500 30,000 33,000 37,000 42,000 46,000 Cooling capacity (kw) 21.9 30.3 38.4 41.7 59.6 74.4 83.9 104.8 115.2 127.5 141.8 154.1 166.4 192.6 212.9 255.2 276.6 EER 2.9 2.8 2.9 3.6 3.1 2.8 2.7 2.6 Heating capacity (kw) 22.3 30.7 38.6 44.3 62.6 76.3 85.9 107.3 117.3 128.1 142.8 155.9 169.8 206.9 23 261.0 286.5 COP 3.5 2.9 3.1 3.1 3.1 2.9 Gas (kw) 32.833 / 7 32.833 / 7 32.833 / 7 32.833 / 7 86.9 45 //145 72 86.9 55 //145 72 86.9 55 //145 72 145 55 / 145 197 145 55 / 145 197 145 55 / 145 197 197 93 / 145 290 197 93 / 197 290 197 93 / 197 290 197 93 / 197 290 197 93 / 197 290 197 145 / 394 197 197 145 / 394 197 > performance specifications* newspace with active recovery unit Model 240 320 360 420 485 540 600 650 720 840 960 1100 1200 Air flow (m 3 /h) 12,000 14,300 15,900 18,000 18,200 20,400 24,000 27,500 30,000 33,000 37,000 42,000 46,000 Cooling capacity (kw) 9 111.7 122.7 148.6 159.4 182.1 198.7 224.7 237.8 27 295 364.5 387.5 EER 4.2 3.8 3.7 4.5 4.3 4.0 3.9 4.3 4.0 3.8 3.5 3.8 3.6 Heating capacity (kw) 81.6 95.7 105.2 127.6 136.3 153.1 167.9 190.4 203.5 246.1 271.4 311.4 336.8 *Cooling mode: mixing conditions of 27 C with 50% humidity.
