Antifouling Anodes Marine fouling and biofouling can form at all depths and temperatures and is commonly found in vessel s seawater cooling systems. A common method of fouling prevention is the Anti-fouling system, which consists of two types of anodes, a Copper alloy rod to prevent fouling and Aluminum or Ferrous alloy rod to prevent corrosion. An anti-fouling anode, once fitting requires little maintenance and is non damaging to the environment. Copper Anodes Copper anodes are used to prevent marine fouling found in pipe work strainers, heat exchangers, pumps, box coolers that cause blockage and accelerate corrosion. Marine growth is not killed and the system is non damaging to the environment. Aluminium Anodes Aluminium anodes are used in conjunction with copper anodes to prevent corrosion throughout ferrous pipe work. Ferrous Anodes Ferrous anodes are used in conjunction with copper anodes to prevent corrosion throughout Cu/Ni pipe work. All materials are available in a variety of sizes and we can offer equivalent anodes of our competitors. Heater Treater Anodes Al & Zn Sacrificial anodes for most production vessels are critical components that protect the vessel from corrosion. Anodes for these applications should be simple to replace when consumed. Seaguard offers several variations that are specifically designed for the application. Most popular are the 3 x 21.5, 3 x 30 and 3 x 60 cylindrical shaped anodes. Smaller size anodes can be joined together to allow it to fit different requirements. Aluminum anodes contain nominal amounts of indium, zinc, and silicon that deliver 1.10 volts (with respect to Ag/AgCl reference cell). These anodes have a proven track record and deliver excellent protection in produced brines with elevated temperatures. Both Al and Zn anodes are available. High-Potential Cast Magnesium Anodes offers the most powerful protection available today with our line of Hi-Potential Cast Magnesium anodes. Cast from high-purity magnesium these anodes produce an open circuit potential of 1.77-1.82 volts. Efficiency of the anode can be further enhanced when installed in a backfill of 75% gypsum, 20% bentonite and 5% sodium sulfate. This mixture allows optimal electrical current to flow more easily to the targeted structure by lowering the anode to earth resistance. All anodes are manufactured to strict quality control standards and ongoing audits to ensure the highest quality that our customers have come to appreciate and expect. High Silicon Cast Iron Tubular Anode Seaguard HSCI tubular anodes work well as deep well anodes for cathodic protection of offshore platforms, underground steel pipelines, underground cables, subsea pipelines, etc. The tubular design provides greater surface area over solid cast iron anodes with identical weight. This in turn lowers anode-to-earth resistance, decreases the current density on the surface of the anode and permits any generated gases to be distributed over a larger area. The tubular design also means the wire connection can be made in the center of the anode, thus eliminating the problem of end-effect consumption. There are two manufacturing methods to produce these anodes, steel mold cast or centrifugal cast. The dimensions of HSCI tubular anodes can be customized in accordance with client s requirements. MMO Activated Titanium Anodes Seaguard MMO coated titanium anode is created for various application and industries. It is based on titanium (substrate) and coated with active mixed metal oxides. The particular mixed metal oxide ceramic is specifically formulated for each shape, and it was tested at extremely high current density to ensure consistent product quality. This type of ceramic coating consists of metal oxide of iridium, tantalum and titanium; its dissolution rates are superior to all other anode materials available on the market today. Since this ceramic material will resist the evolution of both oxygen and chlorine, it is recommended using in fresh water, sea water, mud, brackish water and coke/soil environment. The durable ceramic coating provides both the abrasion and corrosion resistance to meet most of the harsh environment demands of the cathodic protection. Seaguard MMO-Titanium anodes provide 20 years long life at the rated current; it will be longer if the current demands are lower. It is available both in standard and high current version. Special features and versions for longer rated life are available to meet customer requirements. Standard shapes: Bar Pipe Wire Ribbon Disc Standard assembly: String Canister Spiral

Reference Electrode Cu/CuSO4 Permanent Reference Electrode Seaguard reference electrode use a special terracotta body with good porosity which guarantees humidity absorption from ground and maintains the copper sulphate solution saturated inside the electrode. It can provide a constant reading even under difficult condition. The new pipelines with polyethylene coating or similar high dielectric value coating require use of polarization coupon to simulate coating leakage. Seaguard also provides permanent reference electrode with a carbon steel polarization coupon. Portable Reference Electrode Seaguard portable reference electrode is ideal measurement equipment to measure surface potentials in industrial environment. It can work with any common used high resistance voltmeter in the field of cathodic protection. It can be supplied with cable according to customer request.
