PROJECT SCOPE Broward County Transit (BCT) is the major public transportation provider in Broward County. BCT service area covers over 410 square miles Only bus system in the tri-county area with service to all three counties of Broward, Miami- Dade, and Palm Beach.

DOLPHIN STATION PARK AND RIDE TRANSIT TERMINAL FACILITY MDX, FLORIDA The Project comprises of a new park-and-ride transit terminal facility and an access road located within the northwest quadrant of the Homestead Extension of the Florida s Turnpike (HEFT) and NW 12th Street interchange, on land owned by FDOT and MDX. The Dolphin Station Park & Ride Transit Terminal Facility will support the Miami-Dade Transit SR 836 Express Bus service as well as other planned Express Bus routes; and additionally the facility will potentially be used as a terminus or stop for several local bus routes serving the Dolphin Mall and the nearby cities of Sweetwater and Doral. The project includes utility connections to this new facility; as well as the widening and resurfacing of the adjacent NW 12 St which fronts this facility.
SIMILAR BCT PROJECT ELEMENTS The Dolphin project will incorporate many similar features as is been proposed by BCT such as: Bus bays, layover bays, bus terminal turnaround, Electric Vehicle charging station, Parking Management System, Real Time Bus Information System, guide signs and trailblazer/ wayfinding signs along arterials and local street networks, continuous covered terminal platform with canopy structures, continuous sidewalks and bicycle lanes to/from the facility, amongst other features.
MUNICIPAL - RAVENSWOOD BUS MAINTENANCE FACILITY BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA Project had been registered with USGBC LEED Green Building Rating System Program. Project consisted of reconstructing an entire facility in 7 phases while the complex remained in operational status. The project required construction of a fueling and new maintenance facility for conducting bus repairs, maintenance, and also included an administrative office area containing offices, lounges and break areas for drivers and administrative personnel.
NAVIGATIONAL AIDS (NAVAIDS) INFRASTRUCTURE FORT LAUDERDALE-HOLLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA This project consisted of site preparation and infrastructure construction as part of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport expansion of Runway 9R-27L. RJ Behar assisted the contractor in achieving contract compliance with all State and Federal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements, as applicable to this project, including the provisions of the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration Order 5100.38.
