The renewable energy industry is receiving significant investment with the current focus on alternative and clean energy sources, leading to increasing demand for skilled engineers with expertise in the diverse range of technologies utilised in renewable energy systems. The HFT Education range complements the Power Systems range of products and allows the study of the most commonly used renewable energy generation systems including Wind, Solar, Hydroelectric, Fuel Cells and Biofuel production. Students can experiment with each generation method individually, studying the theory and performance characteristics of each renewable energy generator, the appropriate storage and conversion techniques and application of technologies in a real world environment. The HFT Education combined renewable energy trainers allow students to understand more complex systems which combine multiple different renewable energy generators. Photovoltaic Energy RNE530 Photovoltaic Energy Kit A kit of components for studying the fundamental principles of solar energy and the characteristics, operation and application of photovoltaic cells. The kit comprises the typical components of a photovoltaic system individually mounted with safety connections. The components can be connected in different configurations to create test circuits using different sizes of silicon cells and different loads.
