IGLO LINE AT A GLANCE: capacity and universality easy to operate and low exploitation costs energy saving high hygienic standard Iglo line tray tunnel is a complete and universal line for ice cream production. The result of its work are frozen and packed products, such as: stick ice cream, boll-top cones, sandwiches, stickless products etc. Iglo Line is also used for hardening ice cream produced on other machines. Ice Group offers automatic product picking and transfer system e.g. from Expert LVF machine to Ice Group tunnels.

Iglo line tray tunnel features: CAPACITY AND UNIVERSALITY Iglo Line capacity depends on three factors: tray size (i.e. number of products per tray), number of trays and properly selected refrigeration. What s important, the number of trays means the time the product stays in the chamber, which is, for instance: for stick ice cream = 18 minutes, for 5-litre tub = ~180 minutes. the working table length and construction ensures flexibility and allows future product range extension. the distance between tray levels adjusted to product requirements ensures the possibility to work with tall products, such as ball-top cones, and even giant cones, even of 240mm height. universal pincers construction enables work with three different product groups sticks, sandwiches, cones, exchanging only pincers attachments, not the full pincers set. stick product pincer: ball-top cone pincer: sandwich pincer: 3
Iglo line tray tunnel features: EASY TO OPERATE AND LOW EXPLOITATION COSTS easy and quick changeover thanks to the use of servomotors and special trays fixing. open construction of working table and pincers conveyor frames, entirely made of stainless steel profiles, enables easy access to mechanical elements. It also means durability, hygiene and low exploitation costs, due to the lack of special, mild cleaning agents, necessary for cleaning aluminium, which is not present in the construction of Iglo Line working table. well-thought-out construction of Iglo Line in order to eliminate unnecessary service and maintenance, which is also reflected in exploitation costs reduction. natural personnel work organization and elimination of errors resulting from the human factor, achieved thanks to simple software and its visualisation 10 touch screen panel, clear and easy to operate touch screen panel, translated to the local language remote manufacturer s technical support teleservice included in the scope of Ice Group services, enabling long-distance diagnosis, software modifications and upgrades, but most of all immediate help in the hot moments of the season. new, innovative construction, launched in 2011, in relation to tray conveyor and tunnel chain tensioning system. The changes were introduced taking into account higher functionality; more fluent production start and chain life increase. ENERGY SAVING longer working periods between defrosts thanks to tunnel chamber construction, preventing humidity migration into the chamber. An essential factor in relation to work periods elongation is also the special evaporator construction. 4

This results in a sturdy construction, easy to keep clean and hygienic. The construction is always adjusted to the Customer s requirements, however, normally with the assumption of future flexibility, meaning the Customer can develop his tunnel for other products than originally purchased, by adding new equipment. The dimensions are always adjusted to the Customer s production space availability. 13

The advantage of this execution is to avoid "black spots" caused by rubbing of inner and outer plates of the chain eliminate problems of ice pollution caused by the lubricant residual dust caused by rubbing between the steel. A special system of chain tension control, consisting of mechanical stretchers with a spring on each level (curve). The system is highly efficient in securing against the chain s falling, simple and safe 18

Rapid Classic (with bottom sealing) and Rapid Direct-Drop (with upper sealing). The offered alternative means the possibility of precise reply to the Customers requirements, e.g. in relation to packing hygiene, or the production process elements, substantial for a particular product. Regardless of the version, Rapid is a machine based on highly advanced servomotor technology. Having its own autonomous computer integrated with operator-friendly touch screen control panel, Rapid means really r a p i d product type and size change. Rapid is designed for work with any thermosealable film unrolled from a reel, sealed longitudinally and transversely, in order to create packaging securing the product. Typical examples of packed ice creams are sticks, sandwiches, candy bars, etc. Rapid is also produced in special version for longitudinal ice cream cakes (logs).
