9 Planning determine the type and number of people, establish a budget for all resources Organizing employees are given work assignments, space is planned, budget is allocated. Management functions Managers are responsible for their work and the success of the business. They also make sure employees have the resources needed to do their job. Implementing plans are carried out using the resources allocated in budget. Controlling employees and other resources are monitored, changes and improvements are made.
