Purpose This presentation introduces you to the Manager Self Service tasks and navigation. Introduction to Manager Self Service Accessing the Website Navigating the Website Exploring My Team 2
Logging On The first step is to log on to ADP Workforce Now. To do so, go to https://workforcenow.adp.com. On the User Login tab, enter your user ID and password. Then, click Log In. 3
Navigating the Website ADP Workforce Now Home Page As a manager, you will use the Home, Resources, Myself, My Team, and report menus (top left) to access various areas. You can use this menu to access information about your direct reports. 4
My Team Menu As a manager, you will see the My Team menu. You can use this menu to access information about your direct reports. 5
Reports Menu You can use the Reports menu to access Reports Output, Reports Scheduled, My Reports, and My Team Reports. 6
Exploring My Team Overview Under My Team, you can perform the following tasks: Delegating activities Viewing and/ updating employee information Performing Time & Attendance tasks Scheduling and completing performance reviews Assigning performance goals Using the Time Off feature Using the Recruitment feature Generating reports 7
My Team > My Team > Delegated Activities As a manager, you may be able to view delegated activities, and the team calendar. 8
My Team > My Team > Delegated Activities On the Delegated Activities page, you can delegate your manager tasks to other managers or supervisors or to other employees. 9
My Team > My Team > Team Calendar On the Team Calendar page, you can view your team s schedule. 10
My Team > Personal Information > Personal Profile On the Personal Profile page, you can view/update your team members personal information. 11
Your Time & Attendance Tasks You can view and update your employees Time & Attendance records, such as the following: Timecards Correcting timecards Schedules Assigning schedules Reports Creating and running reports 12
My Team > Time & Attendance The Time & Attendance submenu displays activities such as Individual Timecard, Timecard Exceptions, Group Timecard, and Schedules. 13
Message Center The Message Center displays your Time & Attendance messages. 14
My Team > Time and Attendance > Schedules From the Time & Attendance submenu, select Schedules to display the work schedules for your group. You can also use this page to change an employee s schedule assignments. 15
Reports > My Team Reports > Time & Attendance With a Time & Attendance report, you can: Review timecard errors Check schedule exceptions & View daily schedules 16
Your Time-Off Tasks You can use the Time Off feature to do the following: Approve or deny an employee s time-off request. Request time off on behalf of an employee. View time-off balances. Cancel an employee's time-off request. 17
My Team > Time Off From the My Team menu, access the Time Off submenu for time-off information for all of the members of your group. 18
Approving an Employee s Time-Off Request To view employees requests for time off, begin at the Message Center. Click the Action icon and then select Review. You can approve, deny, or cancel the request from this page. 19
Entering Time-Off Requests for an Employee 1. My Team > Time Off > Request Time Off. 2. Click on the Request Time Off. 3. Enter the Date range, the time-off policy, and the amount. 4.Click Submit. 20
Accessing My Team Time Off Requests To view and process time off requests, click on My Team > Time Off > List of Requests. 21
Your Reporting Tasks You can generate reports on various types of information about an employee on your team, such as the following: Personal Work-related Time-off 22
The Reports Menu You can easily generate reports using the Reports menu. To get started, click Reports > My Team Reports. 23
Running Time & Attendance Reports In the Report Name column, locate the My Team Time Off Balance report. Click the Action icon and select Run. 24
Running Reports (Continued) Select one or more companies, indicate the column names, and specify the sort order and output format. Then, click Run. 25
Running Reports (Continued) To view the report that you just ran, follow these steps: 1. On the Output tab All Reports page, locate the report. 2. Click the Action icon and select View as XLS (if you chose the XLS output format). 3. Select Open With and then click OK. 26
