Key achievements I was able to carry out product formula modification trials of the yoghurt product through research and experimentation at Dream Dairy. I was able to improve raw milk quality standards through farmer awareness and training at Dairibord. I was also able to raise the hygiene standards through stricter monitoring and raising hygiene awareness amongst product handling personnel resulting in lower product losses caused by contamination and poor product handling. At Dendairy i took part in the ISO 22000 food safety management system development and implementation process which led to the organisation being certified by the Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ). I also assisted in the drawing up of HACCP system plans. I facilitated the compilation of in-house quality standards and specification charts and the development of a better results recording system. The above were achievable through assistance from /and hard team work by, my colleagues in the quality assurance departments and those in the production departments of the organisations of previous and current employment. I possess substantial production and quality control experience in the processing of the following products; flavoured and real fruit yoghurt, fermented milk, cheese, butter, ice cream, dairy fruit beverages, pure fruit juices, pasteurized milk and flavoured milk.
