Introduction The Earth Care Award seeks to recognize and foster actions and innovations for cimate change mitigation and adaptation by communities, entrepreneurs, sma and medium scae industries and arge scae industries. The award refects the need for decisive action in the SAARC region, considering vunerabiity and chaenges it faces from cimate change in response to the growing awareness about the cimate change effects and their impacts for society. The ECA process recognizes ocay evoved options to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, approaches to protect and and water resources and to upscae innovations for increasing energy efficiency. Appications shoud present: A project of deveoping innovative product or service showing cear reduction in net GHGs emissions or amounts of energy consumed in its use.
