Design and Modeling Fundamental to Delta Marine Consultants reputation in maritime structures design is the attention to constructability related aspects, such as considerations on in-situ versus prefabrication preferences and smart temporary works design. Our material technologists support complex concrete pours, undertake inspections, assess construction methods and contribute to quality assurance. Most of our project designs are now done using 3D modelling, because communications with clients and contractors are more effective with 3D visualizations and with all relevant information that can be conveyed in intelligent models. Our virtual design and drafting resources have full capabilities to incorporate the following into projects: 3D visualization Steel fabrication models Clash detection Building information modelling (BIM) Geographic information systems (GIS) Automated generation of 2D drawings 3D printing services Clients receive significant benefits from 3D modelling as it can be linked with construction planning to visualize step-by-step construction sequences, and can be used for ongoing asset management and data logging throughout the life of the facility. Coastal Engineering DMC offers the full range of port development studies and marine engineering as e.g. Whether it be for coastal improvement programs or for port and marine facility design, it is essential to understand local and regional coastal processes and how these will interact with the new and existing infrastructure. DMC offers a full range of hydraulic studies and engineering applications, from coastal data analyses, metocean modeling studies and ship-to-shore (and ship-to-ship) interface studies to design of coastal structures and workability assessments of marine equipment. In our own professional in-house wave flume we perform 2D physical model tests for optimizing breakwater and revetment designs in view of functional performance, structural stability and competitive solutions. For an overview of our Coastal Engineering capabilities, please refer to Capability Statement DMC -Coastal Engineering. Geotechnical Engineering Fundamental to all civil and port projects is the provision of geotechnical solutions for foundations and ground-related infrastructure, commencing from soil investigations through laboratory testing, engineering and provision of specialist site engineering during construction. Our geotechnical engineering team has extensive expertise in shallow and deep foundations, excavation and slope stabilisation, tunnels, shafts, quarry design, soil retaining structures and foundation systems for offshore wind turbines. Asset Management The development of an optimum preventative maintenance program is essential for any asset owner of port facilities. DMC has a specialist Asset Management division performing inspections and developing maintenance strategies together with and for our clients. Our marine and material specialists have the expertise and tools available to inspect and evaluate the integrity of civil and marine structures and to provide a recommendation on structured maintenance and inspection programs to minimize the lifecycle costs. Another desired aim may be to extend the serviceable life of an existing structure to allow for continued operation. Terminal Infrastructure Delta Marine Consultants has extensive capabilities and experience in civil engineering for roads and infrastructure and this is applied to the design of terminal infrastructure such as port roads, pavements and drainage. These capabilities support our port and marine services on proposed terminal developments or expansions. Due diligence for marine facilities Our experienced marine specialists and material technologists have the expertise to undertake due diligence studies on existing marine facilities to assess the structural condition and what repairs or modifications are required to bring the facilities to a required standard and at what capital cost. Such services are of value to clients considering taking over the operations of existing terminals or for clients who want to investigate upgrading their existing facilities to receive larger vessels. Key Projects Key examples of recent work related to Gas and liquid bulk terminals are given below. Product Loading Jetty, Ichthys Client: BAM Clough JV for JKC JV Gas from the Ichthys Field will undergo preliminary processing offfshore before it is transported via 800 km of subsea pipeline to the onshore LNG processing plant that will be located at Blaydin Point near Darwin in Australia s Northern Territory. As part of this development, extensive onshore facilities will be required at Blaydin Point, including a Product Loading Jetty ( JTY ). The product loading jetty will serve as a loading facility for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and condensate products. The primary function of the jetty structure is to provide a safe basis for shore to ship loading activities. The structure must provide safe berthing and mooring conditions for vessels as well as being a basis for all superstructures, pipelines, roadways and other essential elements for operational purpose. Wheatstone Product Loading Facility (PLF) Client: BAM-Clough JV BAM Clough was awarded the design and construction of the Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project LNG product loading facility and tug berths near Onslow, Western Australia. DMC was involved in the tender and was responsible for the detailed design for the Wheatstone Project. The scope of work includes the design and construction of a 1.2 kilometre jetty with operations platform, a product loading platform with a single LNG and condensate load out berth, and associated piping modules and piping installation. Page 5

Universal Terminal, Singapore Client: McConnell Dowell SEA PentaOcean JV Universal Terminal (S) Ltd is a major storage and trading hub on Jurong Island in Singapore with marine facilities catering for the full range of tankers from bunker barges to VLCC s. Having previously been involved with the client at the feasibility stage, DMC was employed to prepare the detailed design of the jetties. The jetty structures comprise of nine berths in total. The works further incorporated two access trestles including pipe-racks and a firewater pump platform as well as a crash barrier. The structures are built in water depths ranging from 15 to 33. Extensive use was made of pre-fabricated elements to increase quality and decrease the amount of work over water. On the land side a quay was designed with 3 additional berths. The bulk of the design work was performed to a very tight schedule over a 9 month period and concurrently with construction activities in progress. This work was followed with design support during further construction. VOPAK Horizon Fujairah, Phase 5, Fujairah, UAE Client: BAM International Phase 5 offshore expansion: the construction of two additional berthing facilities (Berths 5 & 6) for oil tankers up to 110,000 dwt, including two berthing platforms, eight berthing dolphins, six mooring dolphins and all mechanical and structural topside facilities.
