Food and Wine on Pine is a well-attended, highly branded, upscale event showcasing the best food, wine, art, and music our area has to offer. Event highlights include delicious and unique food from over 20 of the area s independently owned restaurants, 40 local juried artists, more than 30 unique musical acts, approximately 30 wines and craft beers, people dressed in period costumes depicting characters from Anna Maria history, a children s activity area, street performers and a children s artist tent. We are also planning to bring back the Kentucky Derby Experience. All the races will be shown via big screen television in a specially outfitted tent we are dubbing Pine Avenue Downs where all the fun of the derby, such as chance betting, special giveaways, a hat contest and specialty derby drinks will be available. Attendance at the event is estimated to be 8,000.
