LOGISTICS / SET-UP 1. Access will be granted: Monday Jan 15th, 2018, from 15:00 21:00 *All building work/stand assembly/merchandising should be completed during this time. 2. Vehicle Access will be via: Messedamm 22, Gate 9, 14055, Berlin * In order to enter the Expo grounds you will have to pay a deposit of 100 Euro at the gate, which you will get back when exiting the grounds. Only temporary entry of vehicles will be permitted to unload exhibition materials. Permanently parking on the Selvedge Run grounds is strictly forbidden. 3. Parking near the Expo Center Area: Paid parking is available all around the Berlin Expo Center, e.g. at car park ICC for 7,50 Euro/day.

CUSTOMS: To avoid delays at customs or extra fees, we suggest the following: A Fly with your samples and pay for an extra suitcase or two. Likely the safest way to assure that your samples make it to the show with you. or B Ship your goods and sign up for the ATA Carnet, an international customs document that permits duty-free temporary export and important of goods for up to one year. This will assure your samples to be processed much faster through German customs. Costs vary by country and it takes circa 10 days to process. For more information visit the website: http://www.atacarnet.com/germany STEPS TO OBTAIN A CARNET: Step 01 Register for an account: https://webapp.atacarnet.com/public/ NewAccount.aspx Step 02 Gather your shipment information http://www.atacarnet.com/applicationchecklist Define: purpose of shipment, EIN or Taxpayer Identification Number, Names of the individuals responsible for the carnet while en route ( Authorized Representatives ), application checklist http://www.atacarnet.com/general-list Step 03 Enter your shipment data you will be asked for payment information toward the end of the application, however you will not be billed until the carnet is issued. There are many opportunities to make changes and select or decline additional services even after your application is submitted. SHIPPING: If you sent us your goods before the show, they will be stored at our secure location (see address on the left). These services are free of charge as long as the exhibition goods are delivered all duties paid (DDP) and arrive at our storage space in time prior the exhibition (latest Jan 11th 2018) Always add Selvedge Run Fair Goods and your Brand name to the box You take full responsibility for custom procedures If a package is on the way, please send a short email to info@selvedgerun.com The goods will be at your booth on: Monday, Jan 15th, 2018 at 15:00 Please ensure you are there to collect your goods If you require a later pick up time or alternative delivery date, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Step 04 Submit application If necessary, Selvedge Run will deliver your goods back for a pick up. Arrangements for sending your goods back including collection and postage is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor and must take place during the allotted times (latest 2 weeks after the show).
IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS BOOTH SET-UP Selvedge Run reserves the right to deny any inappropriate booth set up and force exhibitors to change the booth before the opening of the show. Selvedge Run takes no responsibility or liability for irregularities in the measurement of scaled drawings. Walls should not exceed the standard wall measurement of 1,70 m without express permission for Selvedge Run. Toxic or flammable waste is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Disposal of Booth insulations are the responsibility of the exhibitor. The exhibitor guarantees that his stand is staffed during the operating hours. The sale of collection or sample items is strictly forbidden during the tradeshow. BOOTH HANDOVER After the show, the booths must be handed back in the condition in which they were received. Your assigned booth will be handed over in a clean and swept condition. Each stand will have sufficient lighting. Every booth comes with one electrical outlet sufficient for running most domesttic items. We will provide 1 kilowatt for each booth. If you require further sockets or a heavier than standard, you must let us know before the show. Additional charges will be incurred for this. Drilling into the walls, floors and ceilings is strictly forbidden. Walls, ceilings and floors must be left in the condition in which they were given to you. This also means built in floors must be fully removed. PAINTING No painting of the booths, furniture or fittings is permitted. You can paint your own DIY booth how-ever, care must be taken of the floor and wet paint signs must be prominently displayed until the paint is fully dry. It is strictly forbidden to dispose of paint and varnish into the toilets or sinks. It is also forbidden to clean bru-shes or painting materials in the sinks. Disposal of such materials must be done by the exhibitor. INSURANCE A liability insurance for exhibitors can optionally be booked for 30 plus 19% insurance tax. Please contact our team for further information. FIRE REGULATIONS CONCERNING BUILT IN FITMENTS All the Build-in fitments must fulfill the Din 4102-1 standard and be at least B1 flame retardant. The exhibitor must show a valid and current certificate. If the exhibitor cannot provide this and the Fire inspector decides to close the booth, the exhibitor will carry all the associated cost. DISMANTLING Dismantling of the stands can take place: from 16:00-18:00 on Thursday, Jan 18th, 2018 All work must be completed during this time. We need to give all our visitors, even the late ones, the chance to see the booths right up until the show ends. So we kindly ask you not to start dismantling the booths before: 16:00 on Thursday, Jan 18th, 2018
ACCOMODATION Considering the new location of Selvedge Run, for your accomodation we recommend: Book a hotel in Mitte around Alexanderplatz. From this station you can easily reach the Selvedge Run exhibition grounds via train (S-Bahn) S5-20 min, and you can enjoy the advantages of a central location. You can book a room at the already familiar H2/H4 Hotels, which are marked as stops of the official shuttle service operating to Berlin Expo Center and Selvedge Run. If being closer to the new Selvedge Run exhibition grounds is more important to you, 25hours Hotel close to the Berlin Zoo is also a good option with a rooftop bar and many shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel Ibis Berlin Messe is an option you can choose if you want to be only a few minutes on foot away of Berlin Expo Center.
