Edmonton Catholic Schools is now accepting applications for the position of FNMI Curriculum Support - Instructor (Existing position) Edmonton Catholic Schools is a large urban school district whose mission is to provide a Catholic education that inspires students to learn and that prepares them to live fully and to serve God in one another. The District is comprised of over 40,000 students and 3,500 employees in 89 schools and other sites. Edmonton Catholic Schools requires a First Nations, Metis and Inuit (FNMI) Curriculum Support Instructor to support the delivery of curriculum through collaboration with school staff, department managers, specialists, teachers, consultants and the Elder s Advisory Council. The job plans the delivery of academic, vocational, leadership-building, within a culturally-sensitive context for all students in the district. The job also supports holistic learning in areas such as cultural teachings, traditions and spirituality through the Alberta Program of Studies, First Nations, Metis and Inuit Outcomes. This is a temporary, full-time, Level 8 position to commence as soon as possible. Salary is $4071.00 per month as per current Unifor Collective Agreement.
