Anticipated Construction Staging Stage 3 Detour Early August to early October
Anticipated Construction Schedule* Overall Construction Timeline = December 2017 May 2019 Tree clearing and minor grading began December 2017 Utility relocations complete Mid April Intermediate completion dates o 70 th Ave between Peckham and 86 th St = Mid July 2018* (Stage 1) o Northbound lanes on Peckham = Early August 2018* (Stage 2) o Remaining 70 th Ave and Peckham = Early October 2018* (Stage 3) Seeding and final site restoration = Early May 2019 * *Special note: completion dates are weather dependent and unforeseen non-typical conditions can hinder contractor progress with construction.
What to expect during construction? Heavy Equipment Excavators/Track Loaders/Skid Loaders Dump Trucks/Concrete Trucks Material Delivery Trucks Stockpiled Construction Materials Dust, Dirt and Mud Noise Contractor shall make efforts minimize situations of major dust and excess debris problems Construction will be noisy Work hours: Monday-Friday (7am-9pm) and Possibly Weekends (8am-7pm)
What to expect during construction? Private Utility Relocations Notify Utility Companies and Construction Contacts of service issues
What to expect during construction? Water Main Replacement Water service is maintained during construction Look for door-hanger notifications or personal contact for periods of temporary disruption.
What to expect during construction? Storm Sewer Improvements Very minimal disruption
What to expect during construction? Street Paving and Driveways Driveways/handwork require more time and preparation than machine paving *Special Notes: 1.) Please do NOT drive or walk on newly paved areas 2.) Expect a lag between street paving completion and opening to traffic
