The Conference will be immediately preceded by a Doctoral Colloquium; to be held at the Adelaide Business School on 1-2 December 2018. ABOUT ANZMAC The Australian and New Zealand Marketing Academy was founded in 1998 to provide a network for educators and practitioners interested in marketing theory and research. Now celebrating its 20th year, the conference enables interaction among marketing academics and practitioners, as well as the sharing of the latest research in marketing. It is a leading source of marketing information, knowledge and research development. Over 350 high-calibre delegates are expected to attend ANZMAC in 2018 with the delegates comprising of leading marketing researchers, academics and practitioners from Australia, New Zealand and around the world. 02 SPONSORSHIP PROSPECTUS ABOUT THE DOCTORAL COLLOQUIUM The ANZMAC Doctoral Colloquium is for students at all stages of their doctoral research. It is designed to provide doctoral students with an understanding of a collegial academic environment and assist them in shaping their current research endeavours and future academic careers. The colloquium will connect them with other students, leading academics, and mentors, engage them in interesting research and discussion, and transform their research projects and future careers. For this purpose, students will receive feedback on their research, be encouraged to share ideas, hear from leading academic researchers, and engage socially in the colloquium events.
CONFERENCE THEME: The conference theme, Connect. Engage. Transform. pays homage to past, present and future ANZMAC Conferences. If you look at the eye of the logo you will notice the history and relevance of it being the 20th anniversary of ANZMAC. You will see 20 years and also the themes of all the previous ANZMAC Conferences. Connections was the theme of the very first ANZMAC Conference in 1998, and the importance of bringing people together to Connect is still as important in today s digital world as it was then. Marketing academics and practitioners from Australia, New Zealand and the World Engage with each other and the latest research in marketing at ANZMAC. While industry practitioners and government bodies speak widely and freely of the need for engagement, the marketing discipline at the University of Adelaide has led research in this phenomenon in recent years.
