leaders of tomorrow An ACCA initiative to recognise a leader of tomorrow today supported by
LEADERS OF TOMORROW The businesses we work with tell us that the challenge of developing a pipeline of future finance leaders is significant. A global survey of 500 CFOs and finance directors told us they require strong technical finance capabilities balanced with broader leadership capabilities. Recognising this, ACCA invites employers to nominate two high potential, young ACCA members within their organisation to participate in an outstanding programme which will contribute to their development as future finance leaders. These members must not be more than 30 years old and have gained the ACCA membership for less than 3 years. These Leaders of Tomorrow (LoT) will participate in a diverse range of high-quality development and leadership opportunities. The intention is to equip them with the necessary skills and breadth of financial and business understanding to become a complete and flexible finance leader. This structured one-year programme is carefully designed to benefit these high-achieving individuals, their employers and the wider finance community. Beyond this, participants will benefit from engaging with their alumni, providing excellent opportunities for them to continually refresh and develop their business and commercial awareness. BENEFITS TO EMPLOYERS Organisations will benefit from: development of stronger, more confident, well-rounded and proactive future leaders participants exposure to cross-sector knowledge and different ways of thinking assisting succession planning by developing a cadre of highly qualified candidates for promotion to executive leadership positions contributing to the national agenda of developing high performing professionals.
