CONCEPT Bank of Baroda proposes to construct premises for establishment of Baroda RSETIs (Rural Self Employment Training Institutes) at the following place where our Baroda Swarojgar Vikas Sansthan is functioning to impart knowledge and training to the unemployed youth for their upliftment and to enable them to take up gainful self-employment ventures. One kitchen and one dining hall, one Director s Room, one administrative room, one store room, two guest rooms, three staff quarters including one for the Director and two for maintenance staff of the institute, one reception counter and one common room with basic amenities NOTICE FOR PREQUALIFICATION OF ARCHITECT Bank of Baroda invites applications for prequalification of Project Architect with supervision responsible to render professional services in construction of premises for Baroda Swarojgar Vikas Sansthan (BSVS), Gandhinagar in accordance with CVC/IBA guidelines and in compliance with rules applicable to the local area and regulations of local authorities. The major scope of work involves preparation of drawing layout, preparation of estimate, preparation of tender, supervision of work and certifying of bills of works and other allied works related to project. Last date for submission of application is 12.02.2013 by 3.00. p.m. MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA To be eligible for selection, the applicant should have: a. Membership of Institution of Architects or Indian Council of Architecture. b. Adequate organizational infrastructure comprising qualified architects, engineers, specialists, other technical officers and staff, with adequate experience to execute the work of such nature and magnitude. c. Satisfactory completion during the last seven years, of at least one job ( Training Centres / Classrooms / Dormitories / Halls ) of similar nature and magnitude of value not less than Rs.72 lacs. OR Satisfactory completion during the last seven years, of at least two jobs (Training Centres / Classrooms / Dormitories / Halls) of similar nature and magnitude of total value not less than Rs.45 lacs. 1
OR Satisfactory completion during the last seven years, of at least three job of similar (Training Centres / Classrooms / Dormitories / Halls) nature and magnitude, of total value not less than Rs.36 lacs. Out of the above works, atleast one work should be executed in Government Deptts/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies/Bank s & Financial institutions. Applications by those firms who do not submit Performance Certificate from their previous employers are liable to be summarily rejected. Prequalification and selection of Architect for the project will be in accordance with the Bank s Norms eligibility criteria mentioned above. Instructions to the Applicants for furnishing information as a part application for pre qualification. 1. Intending Applicants are required to submit their applications in Duplicate with full bio-data giving details about their organization, experience, technical personnel in their orgsnisation, competence and adequate evidence of their financial standing etc. in the enclosed form which will be kept confidential. 2. While deciding upon the pre qualification of the Architects, great emphasis will be given on the ability and competence of applicants to do good quality works within the specified time schedule and in close co-ordination with other agencies. 3. Decision of the Bank in regard to selection of Architect, for issue of tender forms for submitting professional fees will be final. The Bank is not bound to assign any reason for acceptance/rejection of any applications. 4. Each page of the application shall be signed. The application shall be signed by persons/persons on behalf of the orgnisation having necessary authorization/power of Attorney to do so (Certified copies to be enclosed). 5. If the space in the Proforma is insufficient for furnishing full details, necessary information may be supplemented on separate sheets of paper, stating therein the part of the Proforma and serial number. Separate sheets shall be used for ech part,. However the format shall be s per Proforma. 6. Any letter or document accompanying the pre qualification form shall be submitted in duplicate. 7. Applications containing false, incomplete and / or inadequate information are liable for rejection. Also mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection. 8. While filling up the application with regard to the list of important projects completed or on hand, the applicants shall include those works only which are individually costing not less than Rs.36 lacs (Rupees Thirty Six Lacs only).
