Two years ago, First Data s Innovation Lab embarked on a journey to completely understand how consumers interact with their money and manage their financial lives. Applying the Design Thinking approach, we drew upon logic, imagination, intuition and systemic reasoning to uncover unmet, unarticulated consumer needs and potential solutions that would benefit both our clients and their end users. Mobile-Focused Design Highly visual, prominent display of balance information on home page and account information pages makes it easy for users to check status while on the go. User-First Experience Friendly, relatable language speaks to the user in familiar language rather than financial speak, presented in an easy-to-understand way.
10 Modern Smart Engaging Relevant Financial Tools We didn t just add features to give users something new, we developed features that can truly make a positive difference in how users manage their money. Spendable Balance Feature A simple way for users to better stick to their budget by safely setting aside money they need to cover obligations and money they want to save for later. Card Controls Feature An instant solution that allows users to turn off any of their First Data processed debit cards with a click - whether a card is lost, stolen or the user just decides to put it on hold.
