Athenian Sea Carriers is committed to continuously evaluating better solutions in order to reduce emissions to the atmosphere and the marine environment. Therefore our Environmental Policy is an integral part of our strategy and the way we do business. Athenian Sea Carriers monitors and measures on a regular basis the identified company operations and activities that can have a significant impact on the environment. Company manages wastes in order to reduce their volume that disposed on board vessels. The target is to reduce the volume of wastes disposed onboard vessels by 3%. Athenian in its effort to achieve to minimize amount of oil spilled to sea, proceeded to continuous measuring and monitoring of loading and discharging operations. Target is 0 cargo oil spillage. Company in its effort to achieve to minimize amount of bunker oil spilled to sea, proceeded to continuous measuring and monitoring of loading and discharging operations. Target is 0 bunker oil spillage. Company in its effort to achieve to minimize amount of lubricating oil spilled to sea, proceeded to continuous measuring and monitoring of loading and discharging operations. Target is 0 lubs oil spillage. Page 2 of 7

Athenian in order to reduce the amount of dangerous and hazardous chemicals used onboard, implement the use of environmental friendly chemicals and evaluate their efficiency by close follow up and reporting by the existing vessels. Target is friendly vs conventional chemicals used onboard at a rate of 60%/40%. Page 3 of 7

Company in order to reduce the amount of Hazardous Materials carried onboard maintain an Inventory of Hazardous Materials on board that monitors and evaluate regularly. Target is 3.2% outside ECA and 0.095% inside ECA. Company efforts to keep the release of refrigerant gases to the atmosphere as low as practicable. Target is release up to 10% of total refrigerant charge. Page 4 of 7

Ballast exchanges to sea are a major threat for the marine environment. The company's ships perform an excellence performance in action to eliminate the number of remarks by PSC and or any third party related to pollution due to ballast water. Target is 0 no. of remarks during PSC. Athenian achieved its target and continues its efforts to achieve results consistent with environmental leadership. The company's ships perform all efforts to deliver ashore all batteries for recycling. Target is 100% of used batteries to be recycled. Page 5 of 7

Athenian has implemented an aggressive strategy to reduce electric power consumption at its facilities. This strategy includes: 1) Replacing obsolete light bulbs with most efficient led spotlights. The higher efficiency of the lighting reduces heat generation and thus significantly reduces the air conditioning load in summer. 2) Reduced indoor lighting 3) Reduced air conditioning. The air conditioning is now activated on an "as - needed" basis, rather than as am automatic routine. 4) Efficient computer monitors. Old CRT-based computer monitors have been replaced with low power monitors. Target is to reduce 1.5% the energy consumption of the head office. This program aims to promote the recycling sector in order to reintroduce waste into the economic cycle in the form of quality products, while at the same time minimising the negative environmental impact of doing so. Target is 100% of PCs withdrawn within year to be recycled. Page 6 of 7

Athenian implements an aggressive strategy to reduce the amount of A4 paper used at its facilities. Target is 3% reduction of A4 paper used within year. Athenian stipulates that recycling of used paper is preferable to disposal. So its aim is to recycle at least the 95% of A4 paper used at its premises every year. Page 7 of 7
