art of lasting ransformation. Transform Peel is a Government initiative led by the Peel Development Commission, that will drive growth and secure Peel s future as a dynamic and prosperous region. The project will comprise three integrated, strategic elements: 1 The 1,000-hectare Peel Business Park. Within the plan, activation of the Peel Business Park is a priority and as such, LandCorp will deliver trunk infrastructure to the first 120 hectares, ensuring new business and industry can progress with ease. 2 The 28,000-hectare Peel Food Zone, which will incorporate innovative food technology solutions while protecting the capacity of our soil and water resources and maintaining WA s world-class biosecurity system to deliver clean, safe and premium products. 3 The Peel Integrated Water Initiative, an innovative approach to address the future water demands of the Peel Food Zone and the Peel Business Park. Taking place over three decades, this visionary project is forecast to culminate $16.2billion per annum in economic output by its completion in 2050.

eel usiness The Vision. ark. Part of the multi-million-dollar Transform Peel project, the Peel Business Park will be a strategically located industrial estate designed to be an innovative and sustainable industrial zone. The Peel Business Park will have a focus on building opportunity through industry. It will be a place of productivity; where business, industry, training, research and development come together, invigorating the Peel region. As the land development agency for the Western Australian Government, the Peel Business Park forms part of LandCorp s vision to deliver strategic industrial land that supports the economic development and growth of Western Australia.

The new home of potential. Just 10 kilometres north-east of Mandurah, the Peel Business Park is the gateway to the Peel agriculture region. This 1,000-hectare estate will provide the ideal home for agri-food and agri-processing operators, as well as ancillary light, general transport and logistic industries. It will be equipped with water, power, sewer, gas and telecommunications services to maximise efficiency and sustainability. Its convenient position, east of the Kwinana Freeway, will provide easy access to the southern corridor and Perth Metropolitan area, as well as the South West and the ports of Kwinana, Bunbury and Fremantle. The Peel Business Park will also incorporate plans for a campus style technology park to welcome research, development and training organisations to the area, which in turn will bring innovation and a sense of vibrancy to Peel and the wider community.

Where it all begins. N MANDURAH (10km) ROCKINGHAM To enable the release of the first land in the Peel Business Park, LandCorp is facilitating the extension of trunk infrastructure to the area. The first precinct is intended to have light and general industries, agribusinesses, food processing operations, training facilities, transport and logistic companies among other uses. Equipped for success. The Peel Business Park will be equipped with all the essentials that business and industry need to flourish: water, sewer, power, gas and telecommunications. Thanks to the estate s proximity to Mandurah, the second fastest-growing regional town in Western Australia, a highly skilled workforce is already available locally. The focus on sustainability will continue with estate design, landscaping and efficiency measures to reduce water consumption. The flow of communication will be efficient and reliable, with National Broadband Network (NBN) access and high-speed telephone services connecting the park to national and global markets. Internal roads and lots will be designed to accommodate freight and haulage vehicles, while improved street lighting and drainage will ensure safety for workers and visitors. To complete the existing connectivity capabilities of the estate, an established network of transport highways links the Peel Business Park to nearby ports and airports; and ultimately to national and international markets. Planned future innovations. New, innovative and sustainable infrastructure are proposed and works with leading power providers are underway to deliver affordable and renewable energy options. The focus on sustainability will continue with estate design, landscaping and efficiency measures to reduce water consumption. Bore irrigation systems, integrated stormwater management, rainwater harvesting systems, managed aquifer recharge systems, water efficient fixtures and appliances, real time monitoring and low water use landscaping are all being investigated to drive a reduction in water consumption.
