Reaching Coals through efficiency Deutsche Post DHL Group was the first globally operating logistics company to set itself a concrete CO 2 efficiency target (2009) The tool to measure it: GoGreen Deutsche Post DHL Group CO 2 Efficiency Target We do it on 4 levels: DPDHL Group level DHL Express Global level DHL Express National level Customers level involve them DPDHL Group CO 2 efficiency CO 2 from energy consumption Service delivered We aimed to improve our CO 2 efficiency including subcontractors by 30 % by 2020, compared to our 2007 baseline. The target was reached by end of 2016.

RESTRICTED UNCLASSIFIED (PUBLIC) Four strategic targets for 2025 We defined four strategic targets for 2025 to track progress against our 2050 mission 1. Global Target By 2025, we will increase our carbon efficiency by 50% over 2007 levels to support the global ambition to limit global warming to well below 2 C. 2. 3. Local Target Economic Target 2025 By 2025, we will improve local quality of life by delivering 70% of our own first and last mile services with clean pick-up and delivery solutions. RE-VISIT RE-VISIT RE-VISIT RE-VISIT By 2025, more than 50% of our sales will incorporate Green Solutions which make our customers supply chains greener. 2050 ZERO EMISSIONS 4.
