The integral shaped edge means that no surface is open to attack from penetrating moisture. IN HAVING A GENUINE BOARD. You can enjoy benefits which truly prove their worth. In moist conditions, Werzalit window boards remain entirely moisture-proof, since unlike traditional chipboard products the even chip layering alone satisfies the conditions needed to produce the densely compacted core material. The resin content, at around three times the average, also ensures optimal chip bonding. The additional heat and pressure means that the pores are almost completely closed up. A further key advantage derives from the formed part technology, since even the formed edge is an integral part of Werzalit window boards, shaped during the pressing process. That means there is no need for later gluing or application of glued strips, and thus no joint which means no surface susceptible to penetrating moisture or temperature fluctuations.

ANYTHING BUT SUPERFICIAL: SURFACES WHICH RUN DEEP. 1. Core and decorative material have the same types of resins. 2. When heat is applied, the resins bond the surface and the body of the window board to form a single unit. Werzalit window boards are coated with anything from one to five layers. This makes them totally hard-wearing, fade-resistant and hygienic throughout their lifetime. Immediately after the blank panel has been manufactured, the self-adhesive strength of the similar resins in the core and surface material is activated at temperatures of over 160 C. By contrast with the simple application gluing process, this produces a seamless resin bond. The surface and the body of the window board are fused to form a single unit.

DON T LOOK YOUR AGE: HEALTHY WOOD, AND NOTHING ELSE. Every fibre in a Werzalit window board is sourced directly from native forests. This means a significant benefit in ecological terms, but has further benefits in that the initial processing of exclusively healthy wood is a key component in ensuring even chip processing and in obtaining a rigorously selected mix of material from pines and deciduous trees. EVERY ONE A CLASSIC: THE LINEA, EXCLUSIV AND PREMIUM The Linea, Exclusiv and Premium ranges are synonymous with form and function. Not without reason, they are the most-purchased derived timber product window boards in Europe. A typical feature is the integral formed edge, ranging from 26 to 40 mm. Their advantages in terms of function are unique, from the highest level of resistance to building moisture through the fade-resistant surface to their exemplary ease of handling. On top of that, they come in a wide variety of decorative finishes. Up to 16 different decors per window board means plenty of available design options. The Premium series has a special feature, with an additional two finishes in real wood veneer. Depending on the range, the boards come in lengths of up to 6,000 mm, ready to be cut to length, and in widths of up to a maximum of 550 mm.
