BRICK LINTELS STRETCHER COURSE BRICKWORK BRICK LINTELS STRETCHER COURSE BRICKWORK Lintel consist of t lest three courses of bricks bonded with mortr. The first course of bricks, ech verticl joint, hs nchors inserted. Between the first nd the second horizontl sems, nd betyween the second nd the third courses of bricks there is longitudinl rebr reinforcement Murfor -50. The longitudinl rebr t horizontl joints shll go outside the edges of the opening t 50 mm nd 500 mm t the corners of the building. In this wy lintels up to,00 m re mouinted. In order to void this, suspended brckets GSP should be used. They re fixed to the crrying wll of the reinforced concrete lintel while the free end is inserted into the horizontl joint between the first nd the second rows of brickwork. In this cse, the lod is trnsferred from decortive brickwork to the lod-bering structure through the brckets.
