Even though numbers for the event are fluid, they will be high and some members especially on the front may find it beneficial to sell refreshments and fast food from the forntages of their properties. this would of course need a temporary evcent license from regulatory affairs at if the current license does not extend to the boundary. Traffic volume will cause severe congestion in and around the town and all feeder roads. Suggest appoint Traffic Planners to plan park and ride schemes to reduce the traffic flow near the town by using Coaches to ferry visitors to identify suitable additional coach parking facilities for the day LHA/ Park & Ride venues have been appointed and Arriva Buses have became Transport Partners. Dedicated buses with wheelchair access will ferry passengers to & from during the day from 7am until 9:30 pm (aprox) to assist with a "soft" closure. There will be additional public bus services. Rubbish Collections will be difficult to manage using existing processes as vehicle movements will be restricted. to arrange for Street bin teams to utilise handcarts during the day with designated collection points for bagged rubbish away from main event. Events team in discussion with ERF LHA to contact Commercial companies to arrange for collections to take place during the very early hours of the morning and in the evening.
