Color: Single color as selected. B. Doors: 1. Thickness: 3/4 inch (19 mm). 2. Width: 24 inch (61 0 mm). 3. Width for Handicapped Use: 36 inch (915 mm), out-swinging. 4. Height: 58 inch (1473 mm). C. 2.03 ACCESSORIES A. Pilaster Shoes: Formed ASTM A666, Type 304 stainless steel with No. 4 finish, 3 in (75 mm) high, concealing floor fastenings. 1. Provide adjustment for floor variations with screw jack through steel saddles integral with pilaster. B. Head Rails: Hollow anodized aluminum, 1 x 1-1/2 inch (25 x 38 mm) size, with anti-grip profile and cast socket wall brackets. C. Pilaster Brackets: Polished stainless steel. D. Wall Brackets: Continuous type, polished stainless steel. E. Attachments, Screws, and Bolts: Stainless steel, tamper proof type. 1. For attaching panels and pilasters to brackets: Through-bolts and nuts; tamper proof. F. Hardware: Polished stainless steel: 1. Pivot hinges, gravity type, adjustable for door close positioning; two per door. 2. Door Latch: Slide type with exterior emergency access feature. 3. Door strike and keeper with rubber bumper; mounted on pilaster in alignment with door latch. 4. Coat hook with rubber bumper; one per compartment, mounted on door. 5. Provide door pull for outswinging doors. PART 3 EXECUTION 3.01 EXAMINATION A. Verify that field measurements are as indicated. B. Verify correct spacing of and between plumbing fixtures. C. Verify correct location of built-in framing, anchorage, and bracing. 3.02 INSTALLATION A. Install partitions secure, rigid, plumb, and level in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. B. Maintain 3/8 to 1/2 inch (9 to 13 mm) space between wall and panels and between wall and end pilasters. C. Attach panel brackets securely to walls using anchor devices. D. Attach panels and pilasters to brackets. Locate head rail joints at pilaster center lines. 3.03 TOLERANCES A. Maximum Variation From True Position: 1/4 inch (6 mm). B. Maximum Variation From Plumb: 1/8 inch (3 mm). 3.04 ADJUSTING A. Adjust and align hardware to uniform clearance at vertical edge of doors, not exceeding 3/16 inch (5 mm). B. Adjust hinges to position doors in partial opening position when unlatched. Return out-swinging doors to closed position. C. Adjust adjacent components for consistency of line or plane. Grab bars. 1.02 REFERENCE STANDARDS A. 36 CFR 1191 - Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities; Final Rule; current edition; (ADA Standards for Accessible Design). B. ASTM A269- Standard Specification for Seamless and Welded Austenitic Stainless Steel Tubing for General Service; 2013. C. ASTM A666- Standard Specification for Annealed or Cold-Worked Austenitic Stainless Steel Sheet, Strip, Plate, and Flat Bar; 201 0. D. ASTM C1 036 - Standard Specification for Flat Glass; 2011 e1. E. ASTM C1503 - Standard Specification for Silvered Flat Glass Mirror; 2008 (Reapproved 2013). 1.03 ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS A. Coordinate the work with the placement of internal wall reinforcement, concealed ceiling supports, and reinforcement of toilet partitions to receive anchor attachments. 1.04 SUBMITTALS A. See Section 01 3300- Submittals, for submittal procedures. B. Product Data: Provide data on accessories describing size, finish, details of function, attachment methods. C. Samples: Submit two samples of each accessory, illustrating color and finish. D. Manufacturer's Installation Instructions: Indicate special procedures and conditions requiring special attention. Accessories - General: Shop assembled, free of dents and scratches and packaged complete with anchors and fittings, steel anchor plates, adapters, and anchor components for installation. 1. Grind welded joints smooth. 2. Fabricate units made of metal sheet of seamless sheets, with flat surfaces. B. Stainless Steel Sheet: ASTM A666, Type 304. C. Stainless Steel Tubing: ASTM A269, Type 304 or 316. D. Mirror Glass: Float glass, ASTM C1 036 Type I, Class 1, Quality 02, with silvering, protective and physical characteristics complying with ASTM C1503. E. 2.03 FINISHES A. Stainless Steel: No.4 satin brushed finish, unless otherwise noted. 2.04 TOILET ROOM ACCESSORIES A. Toilet Paper Dispenser (TA-01): Double roll, surface mounted with dispensing mechanism, stainless steelinner housing and cam, front of toilet tissue dispencer door shall be drawn, one-piece, seamless construction.. 1. Product: Similar to B4288 manufactured by Bobrick. B. Combination Towel Dispenser/Waste Receptacle (TA-02): Recessed flush with wall, stainless steel; seamless wall flanges, continuous piano hinges, tumbler locks on upper and lower doors. 1. Waste receptacle liner: Reusable, heavy-duty vinyl. 2. Towel dispenser capacity: 400 C-fold. 3. Waste receptacle capacity: 4 gallons (15 liters). C. Soap Dispenser (TA-03): Liquid soap dispenser, deck-mounted on vanity, with polyethylene container concealed below deck; piston and 4 inch (1 00 mm) spout of stainless steel with bright polished finish; chrome-plated deck escutcheon. 1. Minimum Capacity: 16 ounces (0.5 liter). D. Mirrors (TA-04): Stainless steel framed, 6 mm thick float glass mirror. 1. Size: As indicated on drawings.. 2. Frame: 0.05 inch (1.3 mm) angle shapes, with mitered and welded and ground corners, and tamperproof hanging system; No.4 finish. 3. Backing: Full-mirror sized, minimum 0.03 inch (0.8 mm) galvanized steel sheet and nonabsorptive filler material. E. Grab Bars (TA-05): Stainless steel, nonslip grasping surface finish. 1. Standard Duty Grab Bars: a. Push/Pull Point Load: 250 pound-force (1112 N), minimum. b. Dimensions: 1-1/4 inch (32 mm) outside diameter, minimum 0.05 inch (1.3 mm) wall thickness, exposed flange mounting, 1-1/2 inch (38 mm) clearance between wall and inside of grab bar. c. Length and Configuration: As indicated on drawings. F. Sanitary Napkin Disposal Unit (TA-06): Stainless steel, back-to-back partition mounting with adjustable flanges, self-closing door, locking bottom panel with full-length stainless steel piano-type hinge, removable receptacle. 2.05 SHOWER AND TUB ACCESSORIES A. Shower Curtain Rod (TA-07): Stainless steel tube, 1 inch (25 mm) outside diameter, 0.04 inch (1.0 mm) wall thickness, satin-finished, with 3 inch (75 mm) outside diameter, minimum 0.04 inch (1.0 mm) thick satin-finished stainless steel flanges, for installation with exposed fasteners. B. Shower Curtain (TA-08): 1. Material: Opaque vinyl, 0.008 inch (0.2 mm) thick, matte finish, with antibacterial treatment, flameproof and stain-resistant. 2. Size: 36 by 72 inches (914 by 1830 mm), hemmed edges. 3. Grommets: Stainless steel; pierced through top hem on 6 inch (150 mm) centers. 4. Color: White. 5. Shower curtain hooks: Chrome-plated or stainless steel spring wire designed for snap closure. C. Wall-Mounted Soap Dish (TA-09): Heavy duty, seamless stainless steel, surface-mounted with drain holes, without grab bar, satin finish; with concealed mechanical fastening suitable for substrate and backplate. PART 3 EXECUTION 3.01 EXAMINATION A. Verify existing conditions before starting work. B. Verify exact location of accessories for installation. C. Verify that field measurements are as indicated on drawings. 3.02 PREPARATION A. Deliver inserts and rough-in frames to site for timely installation. B. Provide templates and rough-in measurements as required. 3.03 INSTALLATION A. Install accessories in accordance with manufacturers' instructions in locations indicated on the drawings. B. Install plumb and level, securely and rigidly anchored to substrate. C. Mounting Heights: As required by accessibility regulations, unless otherwise indicated. 1. Grab Bars: As indicated on the drawings. 2. Mirrors: 40 inch (1 016 mm), measured to bottom of mirrored surface. 3.04 PROTECTION A.
