System & Business Improvement Analyst Charities Services, Service Delivery and Operations In Charities Services we promote trust and confidence in charities, encourage good governance, support charities efficiency and effectiveness and require charities to comply with their obligations under the law. We register and monitor charities and build sector capability to comply with the law by providing guidance material, online and print resources. The System & Business Improvement Analyst will: Lead the development of new systems and information repositories and work with the wider Charities Services group to enhance existing systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Assist in the technical aspects of system reporting and build Charities Services staff capability in this area. Provide stewardship of the key on-line portals for the Department s interaction with the public including the Charities Register, Charities Services website, and other relevant online business tools as required (the Product Suite). Help to set the direction of products in collaboration with key stakeholders across government so the products are well aligned and highly valued by customers. Work closely with internal and external providers to ensure desired outcomes are met. What you will do to contribute System analysis Analyse trends in usage of relevant systems to identity opportunities for enhancement Support the Intelligence & Data Analyst to report on Charities Register usage, trends, points of value and assist in providing charities data. What you will do to contribute Product suite leadership and management Champion and maintain the Product Suite, including leading its promotion and highlighting its value to user groups (both internal and external) Work with key stakeholders to establish and agree a strategic direction for the Product Suite Undertake promotional activities to raise awareness and profile of your specialist products within the portfolio Support development of business cases and proposals to recommend and support future enhancements of the Product Suite Provide subject matter expert advice and advocacy to support awareness and uptake of the different products provided by the portfolio. Represent/champion business requirements in relation to drivers, points of leverage and challenges including taking the lead or participating in related projects/initiatives as required Lead, manage and maintain the business improvement needs in relation to the product suite with input from the wider Charities Services group Develop and maintain product roadmaps reflecting all aspects including Content Design and Architectural input. Manage issues resolution related to the Product Suite, working closely with relevant staff in Customer Services. System reporting and supporting staff capability Support Intelligence and Data Analyst with technical data requirements Play key role in understanding process flows Establish reporting efficiencies/autonomy Provide coaching and support to staff on the administration of system reporting, queries and issues Play a key role to help troubleshoot issues that arise within the Product Suite Assist the Capability Team with updates to the website. As a result we will see A reliable, effective and efficient Product Suite delivering what is needed to internal and external stakeholders Customer needs and requirements are advocated. Product specific plans are based on the overall portfolio strategy and direction. Roadmaps focus on outcome not deliverables, give clear direction and promotes buy in.
