The AIR PROJECT & SYSTEM packed bed scrubbing equipment includes countercurrent, vertical flow packed beds, and crossflow horizontal scrubbers. These units are used to absorb gas phase contaminants from an exhaust gas stream. They are normally combined with chemical treatment equipment to not only collect the gas phase contaminants, but convert them into harmless chemical substances which can be recovered or easily disposed. The counter flow scrubbers are normally used for large air pollution control sources. The cross flow scrubbers are used in applications such as laboratory hood exhausts, small electroplating operations, and other small emission sources. They are also used in odor control applications where a low profile is necessary. Fans can be provided which are integral with the packed bed. A variety of packing materials is available, including PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, fluorocarbons, ceramics, and various metals.

build the most durable and efficient venturi scrubbers available in the world. Venturi scrubbers are used to collect extremely fine particulate matter from industrial emission sources. They are commonly used to remove particulate matter from exhaust gas streams which are corrosive, flammable, or which contain difficult-to-handle solids. The particulate collection efficiency of a venturi scrubber is comparable to that of an electrostatic precipitator or a fabric filter baghouse. Because of the venturi's ability to process corrosive gas streams without requiring an excessive capital investment, and because of the venturi's ability to process gas streams containing flammable gases or highly volatile or inflammable particulate matter, venturis are frequently selected for hazardous emission control applications, in preference to precipitators or baghouses. Impingement Tray Scrubbers Our Impingement Tray Scrubbers are a cost effective solution for control of particulate matter, acid gases and for flue gas cooling downstream of incinerators and waste heat boilers. The scrubber provides efficient particulate capture with low energy requirements. It is easily adapted to new or retrofit installations and, as with many of our scrubbers, is capable of particulate capture down to 1 micron in size. The Impingement Tray Scrubber accommodates changing gas flow automatically and is designed to provide highly efficient gas absorption FRP Scrubber., during fabrication Liquid is introduced at the top tray and completely covers the tray surface. An adjustable weir ensures coverage on the tray. The liquid rate is determined by the process requirements and the tray design. A down comer arrangement allows the liquid to cascade down from the top tray to the lower trays. As gases pass up through each flooded tray stage, particulate matter in the flue gas impinges on the liquid droplets formed on the top surfaces of each tray and is washed down to the lower section. The liquid droplets formed on the tray surface also provide tremendous surface area for contact with acid gases and/or flue gas cooling. If the scrubbing liquid is recycled, caustic or another suitable alkali is normally used to control ph of the liquid.
