Onsite Machining: Products Our onsite machining team works closely with our in-house manufacturing business, Roberts Machining Solutions. Regarded as the best pipe cutter and bevelling machine manufacturer in the world, Roberts Machining Solutions offers three ranges of cutting equipment for subsea, topside and single man use. Our equipment is renowned for its accuracy of cut, 100% rigidity during cutting, efficiency, ease of maintenance, decontamination and longevity. Roberts Machining Solutions designs and manufactures precision machinery and tools for: pipe cutting, coating removal, bevelling, milling; all of which can be purchased outright or hired on flexible terms. Non-Destructive Testing Services Glacier s subsiduary company, Professional Testing Services (PTS) provides comprehensive inspection and non-destructive testing services to major clients involved in the fabrication and assembly of on and offshore structures. PTS uses state-of-the-art equipment and new probe array technology with provision of dedicated Level 3 lead to supervise NDT staff where required. Our tube inspection techniques include: Eddy current Remote field eddy current Partial or full mag eddy current Near field and NF array technology IRIS Conventional 11 Level 3 PCN (ISO 9712) qualified and 70 Level 2 inspectors in ultrasonic testing, radiographic inspection, surface inspection (MT/PT and ET) and visual inspection Rapid mobilisation of experienced Level 2 and 3 inspectors to client assets We can provide a client-dedicated Level 3 technician onsite at all times to supervise NDT staff on asset Rope access qualified technicians available Advanced Professional Testing Services provides tube testing solutions through differing complementary techniques in order to give you an insight into the tube condition of your heat exchangers. With this conditional information, preventative maintenance can be carried out such as re-plugging or re-tubing.
Welding Services Wellclad, a subsiduary company of Glacier, was one of the first companies in Europe to routinely clad alloy steels with corrosion-resistant alloys, Wellclad s reputation now extends around the world. It has a proven track record of delivering to market-leading quality standards. Wellclad typically provides weld overlay for surface and subsea critical wellhead equipment exposed to wellbore fluid such as: Valves Wellheads Xmas trees Manifolds Hangers Wellclad s specialist services can prolong the life of these components, and enable their use in harsh offshore environments. As well as the provision of weld overlay services, Wellclad can provide a full management solution for its customers. This service covers complete welding provision, planning and scheduling, management reporting, and technical expertise incorporating weld engineering and metallurgy as required.
