Materials Stainless steel vs Aluminium Understanding the differences in construction Stainless steel handrails are continuous unless specified with joints Elbows and mitres are seamless No joints over brackets Stainless steel For beautifully crafted and expertly executed quality that can be seen, felt and admired choose stainless steel. Offering a seamless, uncompromised aesthetic, without visible breaks or joins, straight or curved runs are cut, welded and machine brushed on-site by our expert team. Aluminium painted rails will have joints over the brackets Fixed Fixed Joints at spacing up to 6m apart Aluminium For schemes which require a durable high-grade painted finish, our aluminium handrail can be polyester powder coated in any RAL colour to closely match surrounding architecture.
