Ensure that the safety and cleanliness of the facility is maintained at all times and that repairs are made in a prompt manner at the direction of the Manager/Supervisor. Maintain professional daily logs which include pool and weather conditions, and incidents reports. Attend staff meetings; posts, enforce rules and regulation, and settle disputes with facility staff and recreation participants. Assists cashiers with closing, signs cash sheets, locks monies in the safe at night; takes deposits to Park and Recreation Office as needed. Requests necessary supplies and equipment as it would relate to specialized recreational programs. Observe patron participation at recreation facilities and/or during programs to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Display knowledge of safety rules and regulations as it relates to the City s Parks and Recreation Division and enforces same in a fair and consistent manner. Performs other duties as assigned in case of an emergency. Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers Complies with and promotes safe practices in agreement with the safety rules and procedures set forth in the Loss Control Program. Performs related duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of: Proper care and use of equipment; recordkeeping; accurate cashiering and mathematical skills; principles and practices of public recreation; methods involved in organizing, conducting and supervising a program of special activities.
