P_ III PORT-RAIL CONNECTIONS III- Assesment of the integration of the Adriatic port system with the hinterland: RAIL Rail infrastructure in majority of A-I Region countries does not meet the standards required to satisfy the operational needs of the market. Rail traffic appears not particularly developed, mainly due to technical and infrastructure bottlenecks at border lines. - Lack of interoperability - Underinvestment
