Join the ANA here: www.australiannannyassociation.org BACKGROUND OF THE APPLICANT I UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT: THE AGENCY will undertake every reasonable effort to assist the applicant in obtaining employment providing that the applicant meets all criteria required. Nothing in this contract is intended to guarantee that Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd will find the applicant a suitable position. If the applicant accepts a position as a result of a referral from Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd and the job is unsuccessful, the applicant understands that Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd is not required to assist the applicant in finding another job or to reimburse the applicant for any expenses they may incur should the applicant voluntarily or involuntarily leave a job. The applicant agrees to undertake an accredited First Aid Course/CPR within one month of the date of interview by THE AGENCY, and to undertake to keep the First Aid Certificate current at all times. The applicant will be responsible for looking up all job location and addresses prior to the day the job or interview is to commence. The applicant agrees to provide evidence of a current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance prior to interview by THE AGENCY. The applicant agrees to THE AGENCY contacting the providers of references regarding your character, general reputation, education, personal characteristics, driving record, police record, and past employment.

REGISTRATION AND REFERRAL The applicant agrees that the information provided on the registration application, of which this is a part, are true to the best of my knowledge. The applicant agrees to release and promise to hold Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd harmless for any act of the employer. The applicant also agree to hold Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd harmless of any claim as a result of the placement. The applicant can support all of the information included in the Online Application Form and can provide evidence if required at any time by Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd. The agreement is binding. The applicant shall attend interviews with prospective clients at such reasonable times and places as advised by THE AGENCY. THE AGENCY may refer the applicant s application to a client for casual, long-term or permanent placement, as requested by the applicant. If offered and agree to accept the placement, the applicant will then become an EMPLOYEE of that client. When the applicant, as a Provider, commences your employment there is a 30 day period during which the Client is able to receive a replacement Nanny/Provider at no extra cost if you or they are not happy with the placement. The applicant agrees to make at least a 3 month commitment to which ever family the applicant decides to be placed with and is willing to do so. The applicant agrees and acknowledges that if they accept a time based contractual block placement they are to continue the placement until the end of the contract. I, the applicant, must inform Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd of any contracts or job offers that may come about in the course of my job search including the acceptance of a position. Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd is not obligated to find me a position and will not be held responsible if an employment is unsuccessful. The applicant accepts and acknowledges that upon a client accepting the applicant for a position, the applicant is solely responsible for reaching an agreement with the client as to the terms and conditions of employment. The applicant agrees to acknowledge all Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd communication that prompts a response. Where THE EMPLOYER is a private individual, Superannuation (if applicable) will be paid into an approved fund. THE EMPLOYER may accept the responsibility of deducting tax from the applicant s wages or alternatively may request that the applicant should be responsible for remitting their own tax payments to the Australian Tax Office (ATO). INSURANCE The applicant will confirm with THE EMPLOYER, prior to accepting employment, that Worker s Compensation Insurance cover has been arranged in the event of any injury sustained by me during the course of my employment. Applicants are required to have their own Public and Professional Liability Insurance. Both parties agree that THE AGENCY may, at its discretion, choose not to register the applicant. The applicant agrees that upon breach of this agreement, the applicant shall be de-registered from the agency s database. The applicant agrees to keep the agency informed of the applicant s current work and contract details at all times. EXPENSES: I, the applicant, am aware that I am responsible for the travel expenses and travel arrangements to relocate to the said employment and will make my own agreement with my employer for reimbursement or other compensation. The applicant agrees and acknowledges that THE APPLICANT will be responsible for the reimbursement charges for any loss of income if client s bookings are made directly through THE APPLICANT, rather than through the office.

IF I AM ACCEPTED AS A SUITABLE CANDIDATE FOR REFERRAL TO THE CLIENTS OF THE AGENCY, I HEREBY UNDERTAKE TO ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING CODE OF CONDUCT BY WHICH I AM EXPECTED TO. 1. Telephone the Agency at the first opportunity to advise of any delay or emergency that prevents me from attending an interview or appointment arranged with a client of THE AGENCY. 1300791663 2. Registered Nannies agree to keep all Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd (THE AGENCY) documentation, methods and techniques CONFIDENTIAL and PRIVATE and not to disclose them to any other party unless given permission by THE AGENCY. 3. Advise THE AGENCY of any changes in the job description or remuneration offered which differs from the information you were given prior to the interview with the prospective employer; and will not precede further until I have contacted Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd. 4. Keep THE AGENCY informed of the outcome of any interview organised on my behalf with their clients. 5. Nannies are not to contact clients directly unless the Agency has asked them to do so or they are permanently placed. 6. The applicant is aware that there is a contractual agreement between Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd Pty Ltd and the employer and understands that they may not arrive at the employer's home until such conditions as set in the agreement between Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd Pty Ltd and my employer. 7. The applicant agrees not to commence employment with any client without the agency first consenting to such employment. 8. The applicant agrees not to enter into an agreement with any client without first advising THE AGENCY of any offer of employment. 9. The applicant agrees that THE AGENCY may recall the applicant from a placement if the client does not pay the placement fee. 10. Advise the Agency promptly if/ when a starting date has been arranged. 11. Maintain a professional relationship with the client at all times. 12. Maintain the highest standards of workmanship, integrity and reliability required by the Agency. 13. Present myself neatly, in clean attire and to maintain my personal hygiene. 14. The applicant agrees to remove all visible piercings except standard 2 sets of earrings prior to attending interviews, temporary assignments and all manner of jobs. 15. NEVER attend any workplace or interview under the influence of alcohol or any drug or smoke prior to attending an interview or on the job. 16. NEVER smoke during working hours, at the client s home or during an interview 17. Never use physical force on a client regardless of age, nor to smack, hit, shake, push or physically discipline any infant, child or children in my care. 18. Maintain accurate records of all expenditure and to retain the receipts for items purchased on behalf of and/ or at the request of THE EMPLOYER. 19. Respect the privacy of THE EMPLOYER and not to discuss any aspect of the lifestyle or activities of any member of the client s family. 20. Respect THE EMPLOYER S home and not to invite friend s or relatives to visit without THE EMPLOYER S prior knowledge and consent. 21. Not use THE EMPLOYER S telephone for private calls except in an emergency.

RELEASE I, the applicant, hereby relinquish all claims or possible liability from Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd Pty Ltd. At no time will Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd Pty Ltd be held responsible for any damage or loss resulting from employment from a Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd Pty Ltd referral, including any acts of commission or omission on my part or the part of the employer family. I also agree that Night Nannies Australia Pty Ltd Pty Ltd will not be held liable for the reimbursement of any fees arising from traveling to or from the set job or any possible court costs or lawyer fees stemming from any claim that may be made by any person.
