CORRUGATE DISPLAYS The first thing to do when you receive a display (also called a shipper ) is to speak with the store manager (or manager on duty) and discuss/ask where it is authorized to put up. After you receive approval to put it up, assemble the shipper. There are usually instructions included, but they are pretty selfexplanatory. Typically, the product that is to be placed in the shipper will be included in the same box. Place the product in the display and place the display in the approved location. If the manager says that they do not want it put out, we need to respect their decision. If/when that happens, merchandise the product into the mainline and discard of the cardboard display. Please call or email Alysha to inform her that the display is not allowed to be put up. These displays usually do not have an off sale or date to take them down. It is normal to try to keep them up for as long as possible. When the product sells down to a point where the display looks bare, then please merchandise the remaining product into the mainline and dispose of the display. If the display starts getting worn and looking ragged, dispose of display and merchandise product into the mainline as well. One month is generally a good goal timeline.

The invoice for the books will either be inside the totes, or on top of the totes. 2. Receiver scans in product. Once the receiver has received the product, they will sign their invoice. 1. If the driver assists with the receiving of the product, the driver will bring the signed invoice back to Dakota News 2. If the driver does not assist with the receiving of the product, the receiver will place the signed invoice back into the tote with the books. 3. When the product is done being scanned in, a receiver report is printed. 1. If the driver assisted with the receiving of the product, the receiver report will be given to the driver, along with the signed invoice, to be delivered to Dakota News 2. If the driver did not assist with the receiving of the product, the receiver report will be placed in the book tote, along with the signed invoice. These papers will be sent back to Dakota News in the book totes that are returned. 4. Books may then be merchandised on the floor. 1. If the merchandiser gets to the store and the books are not scanned in and the receiver is present 1. Merchandiser asks the receiver to check in the product while they merchandise the magazines. Books should be ready to go by the time the magazines are done. Merchandiser does the books before leaving 2. If the merchandiser gets to the store and the books are not scanned in and the receiver is not present 1. Merchandiser leaves a note on the books unable to merchandise; not checked in. Books can be checked in at receivers convenience, and merchandiser will be back at next visit (usually a couple days), and will then merchandise Not on Files (NOF s) 1. BOOKS AT CUB FOODS (2) Returning books 1. The Dakota News merchandiser puts all books to be returned neatly into totes and delivers to the receiver station with a note ready to be scanned out. 2. Merchandiser fills out return form, including the number of book totes to be returned, and adds a yellow dot sticker to each book tote to be returned. Merchandiser leaves the return form (white/pink copy) and the credit return memo with the book totes to be scanned out next to the receivers desk. 3. Receiver scans out the product, utilizing the credit return memo if needed 1. One copy of the receiver report is placed with the white copy of the return form and kept by Cub. A copy of the credit return memo should be kept as well. 2. One copy of the receiver report is stapled to the pink copy of the return form, along with the credit return memo, and returned to Dakota by placing in the return totes, along with the signed invoice and scan-in report (if applicable) 4.
