OBJECTIVES Supervisors are required to understand the broad range of activities and the inherent risks that are characteristic to banking, the insurance area and the capital markets as well as ensuring compliance with regulation and the processes that should be in place to manage the risks that supervised bodies encounter. This workshop addresses the communication skills required when carrying out these tasks in English. As regulation and supervision throughout the EU varies from country to country, course participants will have an opportunity to compare professional experience and to enhance their overall capabilities in English through intensive interaction. TARGET GROUP Supervisory staff from central banks/supervisory authorities, junior and senior, required to communicate in both written and spoken English in the area of banking, insurance and/or capital market supervision.

ORGANISATIONAL INFORMATION Seminar Venue Banque centrale du Luxembourg 2, boulevard Royal L- 2449 Luxembourg Registration Please register online on our website http://www.ese-initiative.org Registration deadline: April 11, 2018 Seminar fee: 400 tuition fee (excl. accommodation) Accomodation is not included in the fee. Participants should book an accommodation by themselves after receipt of the confirmation of participation at the registration deadline. Lunches and snacks will be provided during the training. One Social event with dinner on the first evening is included, too. Ancillary costs (e.g. telephone calls, additional drinks, etc.) are to be borne by the participants themselves. During the seminar lunches as well as soft drinks and coffee/tea will be provided at the venue. The dinner on 16 May 2018 is included in the seminar fee. Invoices will be issued and sent to the individual institutions after the event has taken place. In case a registration already confirmed by ESE is cancelled after the registration deadline and no replacement for this place can be found, the complete seminar fee is due and will be invoiced by ESE.
