TRANSPORT AND TELECOMMUNICATION INSTITUTE Riga, Latvia 23-24 April 2015 Two days of scientific collaboration, learning and networking with colleagues from different countries at the Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) when Latvia will hold the Presidency of the European Union in the first half of 2015. During the Presidency, around 200 events at different levels will be organised in Latvia The International Scientific - Practical Conference European-Asian Transport Corridors: Trends. Strategies. Practices. This Conference is intended for academics, researchers, practitioners and business representatives involved in research, university-industry interaction, innovation and entrepreneurship. Innovative systems, new approaches and original ideas need to be thoroughly tested and critically evaluated before they can be implemented in practice, which highlights the importance of meetings such as this. The variety of topics covered at the Conference reflects the complex interaction of transport systems with their environment and the need to establish integrated strategies. The aim of the Conference is to arrive at optimal socio-economic solutions while reducing the negative environmental impacts of current transportation systems. English is the official language of the Conference.

Call for Abstracts and Proposals We are now calling for abstracts for the papers. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee as well as published in the Conference Proceedings (with ISBN number) and on the Conference website. Abstracts (about 600 words in length) submitted for review should be in the English language and should present a clear and concise view of the motivation of the subject, give an outline, and include information on all authors (full name, affiliation, address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address of the corresponding author). Scientific papers presented at the Conference and accepted with positive International Advisory Committee referees' reports will be published in the Conference Proceedings (with ISBN number) and included in the International Publishing Databases. The results of scientific explorations gained during this Conference and recommended by the Programme Committee will be published in the international scientific journal Transport and Telecommunications (SCOPUS).
