Regional Co-ordinator (London & Bucks) JOB DESCRIPTION LOCATION: Based in one of E-ACT s academies within the London & Bucks region but with some travel to all academies within your region. REPORTING TO: Regional Education Director CONTRACT: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week. Role Purpose: The purpose of this role is to ensure high quality and efficient administrative support and coordination to the Regional Education Director and the Regional Operations Director. The role is designed for a high performing, impact driven person who has strong attention to detail and who cares about ensuring quality support to drive improvements within the region. Reporting to the Regional Education Director but also with accountability to the Regional Operations Director and the National Governance Team, this post holder will be accountable for all administration required within their region including HR administration, governance and general administrative duties. The post holder will also be required to undertake specific training on clerking exclusions meetings and HR administration on appointment, and to attend an induction day with the national governance team to understand the governance framework in operation throughout the Trust. Key Accountabilities: To lead on the administration of the Raising Achievement Board (RAB) meetings within each academy in the region, including: establishing a calendar of dates for 6 weekly academy RABs; co-ordinating the paperwork for each RAB in a timely manner; taking accurate and detailed minutes at the RAB meetings; circulating actions and minutes within 5 working days of RAB meetings; acting as a central point of contact between the regional team and the national governance team in relation to information required from your region To lead on the administration and support of the Ambassadorial Advisory Group (AAG) meetings within your region, including: driving the local publicity, recruitment and parental elections of the AAGs; issuing appointment letters, maintaining member details and reporting termly to the National Governance Team; taking minutes at a minimum of 3 AAG meetings per year; scheduling and taking minutes of the termly meetings between the AAGs and the REDs. Leading on HR administration within your region, including: recruitment to regional posts and the appointments of Head Teachers in the region; leading on ensuring DBS checks on all

regional staff prior to appointment; issuing of appointment letters and contracts and maintenance of all regional staff records; arranging and co-ordinating comprehensive inductions for all regional staff. Acting as the lead administrative co-ordinator for termly regional staff days (as a minimum) and working with the RED and ROD to establish a calendar of CPD staff training/focus days throughout the year. To keep in regular contact with E-ACT s national governance team on the calendar and report on activities undertaken on a termly basis as a minimum. To act as clerk for all exclusions disciplinary committee meetings within your region, including the co-ordination of the pupil, parents, panel and LA lead in line E-ACT s governance framework and (subject to relevant training) taking minutes of the meeting. To act as a single point of contact between RED, ROD, the national team and the academies within the region, ensuring a continuous communication flow within the region up to the national team Assist RED and ROD in all administrative and general duties as required
