LOSS PREVENTION Cash Management When the shift begins staff Float In then Float Out at the end of Shift. The Float can then be balanced at the POS or Backoffice. Balancing at the POS is blind. Staff can be individually assigned to a Cash Draw making them responsible for it balancing. If the shift does not balance it is flagged automatically prompting manager review. Accounts can be forced to be balanced at the end of the shift. Spot Checks allow random check without having to re-balance the till 55
